Soul crushing bill.

Food is okay, definitely not worth the price. Super ambitious menu, great concepts but really not so great execution. Gave this restaurant 2 shots, both were dissapointing. First time was when they first opened up. We had burgers and ramen fries. The burgers were alright, but honestly you could get a better one across the street at Wahlburgers for almost half the price. The ramen fries initially were really good, honestly an excellent idea. But... After a while the seasoning was overwhelming. There was just SO much of it. Today we tried the karaage chicken, ramen and steak. The "karaage" chicken was genuinely really good, but not at all karaage. I'm not sure why it's called karaage besides it sounding cool to people who's never had it? The main dishes on the other hand.. weren't so great. Both the ramen and the steak just tasted like nothing. The broth was very watery and the steak just seemed to have no salt or seasoning on it at all. The quality of the steak was okay but definitely not what a $40 steak should be. I know there was a steak sauce on the side... But a steak at that price shouldn't NEED the sauce to cover up the lack of flavor. A steak should stand strong on its own, and the sauce should be there to compliment it not overshadow it.

Walked away with a bill that was $110 for 2 adults and 1 kid. We only had 1 mixed drink and a soda to go with our food. You'd find a much better meal for a quarter of the price at similar places. Hell, I'd rather go to an Applebee's than come here again. There's just absolutely nothing here to justify the pricing, it's not a "fancy" place by any means.

The place was really beautiful inside the food was really good the prices were medium the portions were reasonable. But the staff was not good. I walked in, and they asked me if I had a reservation told me it'd be a 45-minute wait. I said I would wait. I ended up sitting at the bar, and the waitress was unfriendly and emotionless. Now, mind you, there were a lot of empty seats in the place , but they made it sound like they were packed with reservations. I want to say it was around 8:00 p.m. I sat at the bar for less than 20 minutes, and the place cleared out there were a lot of tables open, yet a lot of people walked out because they had made them wait 45 minutes. I felt like the staff was not accommodating the people walking in and getting as many people seated as possible to make the owner money. I was also asked if I wanted to stay on the list for a table, and I told the girl, "No, I'll stay here at the bar 45 minutes later." I got a text for the table. Yet, there were many tables that were empty for over 30 minutes until they texted me. The girl was literally behind me. I turned around and told her, "Are you still texting me I told the girl to take me off the list. She said oh you don't want a table I said I just finished eating all my food, which was sitting in front of me. And then I wasn't even finished with my food and the bartender started handing me boxes to pack my food also she gave everybody at the bar glass of water except for me. So the food was good and saved this review, but the staff is not there to make real money for the owner. The owner should reconsider their staff or maybe get them some training. Not busy Tu evening. Absolutely awful. Edible at best. Caesar salad uninspiring with none of the promised cheese on it. Kids mac and cheese not edible... my kid ate it since he hadn't eaten since lunch. I ate my steak tips but needed ketchup to disguise the flavor, and very tough. Mashed potatoes were cold and the green beans under done. However, it was the service that truly takes the prize. Seated and ignored. Crayons for two of three kids, and said she said you would be right back with more. After 10 minutes of no server in sight I got up and got a 3rd set from the server station. Still no server to place order. Finally arrived, and filled 2 glasses of water, said would be right back with more for other glasses. No show. Got up and went to server station and asked for water from another server. 6 pitchers were empty-ish. She combined warm dregs of two of them to fill (really over fill) one glass. And went and grabbed water and splashed water in other glass as well ... not performed with a smile and with attitude. Finally placed order. Food arrived. Never once asked if we needed anything or if everything was ok. Had to flag her down to get salt ... and steak knife. That only took 10 minutes. Table never once cleared during meal. Dishes piled up. And no room on table for anything. Then waited 20 minutes to get the bill. Was about to leave and manager asked how things were and explained how bad things were. In his defense, he was nice and understood ... credited steak tips and mac and cheese without my asking ... which was very kind. Gave back a...
