I recently had the chance to revisit Yard House after several years, and I must say, it was an experience worth remembering. Having visited one on a different coast in the past, I was excited to see how the location had evolved. The menu has changed quite a bit since my last visit, with many new items I hadn’t tried before. The variety and innovation in the offerings were impressive, making it hard to choose what to order, but everything sounded so tempting!
What really stood out was the fantastic service. From the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure that everything was just right. They really know how to create a welcoming atmosphere. The food came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented—exactly what you want when you go out to eat. Every dish I had was not only flavorful but also well-portioned, ensuring a satisfying meal.
If you’re visiting, I highly recommend sitting at the bar. The bar area offers a great view of the action and allows you to interact with the staff more directly. The bartenders were on point, offering great recommendations and adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Whether you’re grabbing a drink or enjoying a meal, sitting at the bar just elevates the vibe and makes it even more fun.
One thing to keep in mind is that the space can get quite noisy. The acoustics aren’t the best, and if you’re dining with someone who has difficulty hearing, it’s a good idea to sit close to them. The noise level can make it tough to have a conversation without raising your voice, especially during peak hours.
All in all, I was really impressed with my visit to Yard House. The service, the quality of the food, and the overall atmosphere made for a memorable meal. If you haven’t been in a while or are considering checking it out for the first time, I definitely recommend it. Whether you’re a fan of the old favorites or excited to try something new, there’s something for everyone. It’s definitely worth a visit, just be prepared...
Read moreYard House in Lynnfield is a fantastic spot! The food is excellent with a great variety to choose from, and the prices are really reasonable. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the service is friendly and attentive. I love the Coconut Passion cocktail, made with pineapple, passion fruit, coconut rum, and banana rum—it was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be back to enjoy this place again!
It offers a variety selection of cocktails that are just as enticing as their beer list, making it a great spot for those who enjoy creative drinks. The cocktails are well-crafted and pair perfectly with the diverse food menu.
For appetizers, I highly recommend trying the Poke Nachos—they’re a must! and blackened sashimi, both are standout choices—incredibly fresh and flavorful. The blackened sashimi is especially delicious, while the spicy tuna stack and firecracker shrimp bring a kick of heat for those who love bold, spicy flavors. Yard House’s tacos, chicken wings, and pizza also don’t disappoint. The pizza, in particular, is a hit: thin, crispy, and perfectly cooked without being greasy—a definite favorite.
Overall, Yard House serves up a variety of delicious options to suit any craving, with flavors that are well-executed and satisfying. From appetizers to entrees, each dish complements the drinks menu, making this a go-to spot for fun, flavorful dining in Lynnfield. Whether you’re there for the cocktails, a casual meal, or to watch a game, Yard House is sure to leave you impressed. The ambiance is modern and upbeat, with a spacious dining area and plenty of TV screens, making it an ideal spot for sports fans. The servers are generally attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to recommend drink pairings. However, it can get crowded and noisy during peak hours, which some diners might find overwhelming. For those interested in a quieter experience, lunchtime or weekday visits are often...
Read moreVisited from out of town, saw this place had good reviews and thought we'd give it a shot. Sadly, this place was the only thing we disliked from our weekend getaway. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait but ended up waiting almost an hour...not the biggest deal as the area had plenty to look at and it was a Saturday night. Atmosphere inside was pretty cool and that's where the 2 stars come from. We decided on our meals while waiting so once we were sat we placed our order - a few beers, an onion ring tower and 2 of the ribeyes with parmesan mash. Our beers came out about 5 minutes later and then...nothing for nearly 40 minutes. No offer of new beers, no appetizer, no sight of the server. Finally she came back to us and said that unfortunately our onion ring tower had been given to another table by mistake and that it would be comped. Fine. A few minutes later our main courses hit the table, along with the onion tower. The onion rings were soggy on the outside, and cold on the inside. They weren't the only cold thing we got....Her mashed potatoes looked like they should have, mine like they were scooped out of an ice cream scooper onto the plate by an Elementary school lunch lady. Again, not the biggest deal, what really matters is the taste, just odd the complete difference in presentation on the same dish. Well, with the look of the plate I wasn't at all surprised to find my potatoes were nearly ice cold. Hers were room temperature. Everything else on the plate was room temperature. The meals clearly sat sitting up at the window for a prolonged amount of time. We were so hungry we just ate what we were given instead of making a fuss and waiting for fresh food. It was just super disappointing and a definite waste of money. If we hadn't had such a long drive in the morning we 100% would have asked for -at the very least...
