One star because I GOT SICK. AND the customer service was atrocious. I’m paying 30 dollars for two CHICKEN bowls, I better see CHICKEN. The girl who was serving us scraped the bottom of the pan to collect 3-4 pieces of chicken that looked cold and unappetizing. How could it not? It was the last 3-4 pieces of an empty container. I ask her “is there any fresh chicken”, she brushes me off and quickly says “no, not right now” with an attitude. I see another server give my boyfriend fresh chicken from the back counter and I ask if that is the blackened chicken that was they were supposedly “out” of. Sure enough, it was. What really bothered me is that I had to give her a customer service lesson on the shift and I’m not employed here! I told her, why would you give a paying customer the crumbs of whatever chicken is left , it looks cold. I asked you if there was more chicken. You said no. Why not offer to make more? It is only 5:20 pm? What is the hassle of asking a paying customer if they’d like fresh chicken and how long the wait time would be. She denied me fresh chicken and then brushed me off and was rushing through the order- as if I had NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER. She scraped the chicken quickly, to move on with the order. Didn’t even try to ask for new chicken until I mentioned it and got nothing but attitude. What kind of establishment throws crumbs in your bowl and says nope, not right now- to fresh chicken - when I’m PAYING!! Food is not free hunny. Excuse me! I should get what I pay for. She didn’t apologize. She bickered with me. Not a good look. I hate how all these amazing places have the worst...
Read moreOne of the main reasons I like to eat at Sweet Green is because there’s a plethora of vegetarian options that are satiating without needing to have meat. However, there’s tons of meat options if you want ranging from blackened chicken to salmon, so it leaves everybody with an option. As somebody who tends to lean towards vegetarian options for my own personal health reasons, I love when places cater to the vegetarian lifestyle. And all honesty I’m an omnivore and I eat everything. Having vegetarian food taste great, and feels good too. It kind of feels like you’re raised in this country and you go to school eating trashy food then you get out of school eating McDonald’s and then you go to a corner store and buy a bunch of refined sugar and candy. For years there wasn’t much else. So it’s actually really nice to see companies opening up that offer actual healthy food with substantial nutritious value. I don’t really know much about sweet green, but I know that the customers enjoy it and the people that work there really seemed to have a good time. I’ve also never really had anything bad from them. It’s also pretty cool that they seem to be mindful of how they source their food and how there creating their menu. I would challenge anybody who thinks they don’t like vegetarian cuisine to drop into a sweet green and just grab the first item. I think you’d be pleasantly surprised at the flavor and how substantially full you feel for a long time. I actually looked this up to see if it was a franchise to see how I could bring more of them around. Apparently it’s privately owned so, good for them. And...
Read moreSalad always tastes better when someone else makes it and here I had so many choices to customize it just how I wanted it. They do have their own combinations as well but nothing that was exactly what I wanted. Luckily I was able to just choose my own toppings. Their dressings are homemade there according to their signage. I added roasted chicken and avocado. Really liked the flavor of the chicken. I don't personally like nor eat Caesar salad but it is my daughter's favorite and she didn't like the dressing. She thought it was too fishy for her taste. I also like that they have different flavors of teas and beverages some with some without sugar. They have agave syrup but I wish they has stevia. That would be my one recommendation. Oh and at 3 in the afternoon the line never stopped. They moved relatively quickly despite the neverending line of new patrons. Will...
