I love this place. Everything I've had has been really good. The teriyaki sauce is a little different than regular places. It's a little sweeter than usual and I taste some lime but I like it. Also the orange chicken is delicious and the chicken fried rice is delicious and a huge portion for the price. it is a family-owned business which makes me feel good about spending my money there as opposed to a chain store. The staff is always very friendly and it seems to be only the owners that work there. Hard-working lady she is also the bubble tea is really good I've been coming here every day just for the bubble tea. Another bonus is it's the only teriyaki place open on Sundays. So be prepared for a little wait on Sunday since it's the only place you can go to get teriyaki. So I highly recommend trying...
Read moreThe food is good. The service is terrible and they're clearly very disorganized. I ordered 2 chicken teriyaki bento plates and a katsu bento plate to go. While I was waiting, they brought out a plate that no one had ordered and then went to 2 people to ask if they had ordered it, one of whom hadn't even ordered at all yet. Just to note there were only 5 customers in the restaurant at the time.
Finally got food, turns out they only sent me home with 1 chicken teriyaki and 1 katsu (I know, should have checked before I left). I live close so I called about the mistake, they said they'd fix it so I went back. This time they gave me just chicken teriyaki, without all the other things that go in their bento boxes. We will not be ordering food here again.
TL;DR- food is good but it's not...
Read moreGood food and good value. We spent maybe $10 less at another teriyaki restaurant nearby but we ordered more food here. Last place we got teriyaki, spicy teriyaki, gyoza, and one drink. And for $10 more we got an order of dragon sushi (a generous amount at that), two drinks, and extra meat on the regular teriyaki. The spicy teriyaki was pretty good! I like my teriyaki to be on the saucier side and this has met my standard. The gyoza was nice and crispy. I don’t eat fish but my boyfriend enjoyed his dragon rolls. We will definitely be back!
Update: we have gone here numerous times since I posted this review. It’s our go-to spot for teriyaki whenever we get a craving. My boyfriend has tried several different sushi’s here and loved them all. Lots of variety and at...
