Look, I really don't like writing negative reviews, but DQ at the corner of Hwy 99 and 168th in Lynnwood is the most abysmally run business I have ever come across. I know it's fast food, so my expectations are pretty low, but this place is far below even that. I've tried this place maybe 4-5 times in the past 6 months since it's right around the corner from my house. Every time I have been there, I don't think there has been anyone over the age of 20 working there, so they think it's ok to just goof off, waste product, and stand around doing nothing while there is a line out the door. The place is always filthy. I've literally seen them drop food on the floor and just walk through it instead of cleaning it up. I order the same thing every time and get wildly different prices each time. Today while waiting at the drive up window for my order, I witnessed one employee blasting another in the face with the remnants of a whipped cream canister while about 3 or 4 others just stood around. There wasn't much in it, but enough air and whipped cream enough to cause the targeted employee to need to wipe his eyes out. When I ordered, I was told my small sundae with an extra sauce would be $3 and change. I get to the window and then am told it's almost $6. I confirmed my order and was given some bogus excuse how I wasn't charged for the additional sauce when they told me the price. Your mistake isn't my problem. Even so, how does that come to be over $2.50 more? Maybe if you didn't waste so much food there, you wouldn't need to try to rip customers off. Just a thought. I just drove off without paying or taking the ice cream, and the person before me and after did the same, so it clearly isn't just me who has had it. Whoever the regional manager or above is for this place needs to step in like yesterday. I've had my last straw with this place and...
Read more04/04/21 - The cashier had a problem understanding that I just wanted a chili dog - with no fries and no drink. I explained I just wanted the chili dog, no meal-deal. She figured that out. Then, I ordered an additional two plain hot dogs. Just a dog and a bun. Those were more than $3 each (wow!). I only live 0.5 miles (less than two minutes) from this location and the food was marginally warm and mostly cold when I got home. How does food cool that quickly unless it wasn't fully cooked at the time of purchase?!? I had to put it in the toaster oven to bring it up to a suitable temperature before eating it. Yes, I did eat it. I was hungry and it was "substance". While waiting for the food, I was watching the preparers assembling the food and the dead look in their eyes was borderline disturbing. They obviously didn't want to be there and didn't want to be doing what they were doing. Can't give zero stars and I cannot go back to Dairy...
Read moreDon't order food here, especially not on the mobile app. I think this place is being operated by new people who don't know what they're doing. I made an order using the mobile app then got there and they were confused and asked me if I made an order. Because of this my order took longer than normal. As a few other reviewers stated, the food was cold by the time I brought it home.. It was at most a 5-6 minute drive. Paid $14 for a relatively small burger (flamethrower stackburger) and a very basic salad side. The burger wasn't even that good, had huge chunks of lettuce falling out everywhere. And the salad was just 100% lettuce and ranch dressing. You can make a much better burger at home with cheap grocery store ingredients.
The quality of recruiting workers at this chain must've dropped drastically and I'm not sure how the folks here got hired, but the guy taking my order did not have very good customer service skills and didn't...
