Musashi’s in Lynnwood is finally open! A little unclear whether this is a soft opening or the official opening since they seem to have the full menu (used in Seattle) and have full hours already.
I don’t think many people realize this place is open yet, so there was no one else when I went on a Saturday at 12:30pm. They appear to be using the exact same menu as the Seattle location. As of 2025, the chirashi bowl is $18.75. They do take all payment methods both cash & card. There is also plenty of seating at this location.
As for the food itself, the fish felt decent. If you’re a fan of the original spicy mayo from the Wallingford location, then it’s mostly similar although it’s less sweet and more spicy. Unfortunately, the sushi rice didn’t seem seasoned at all which was disappointing but hoping that will improve over time. They did also run out of salmon in the middle of their lunch hours but it was only their 2nd day so it’s likely their business operations are still being...
Read moreWhat can I say, other than it's nice that we have a Musashi location that is up here in Lynnwood, it's next to the mall parking area and right across from H Mart. Similar quality and menu as the Redmond, factoria, and other location!
This location was nice, plenty of parking. You can sit on a bar or table, and order when you scan QR code. They also have a to go order section near the entrance, pretty neat! You can make online order and also pay online too. Very convenient.
The sets and combos are always good. What I always prefer when coming here is the chirashi bowl. Usually, you can customize and let them know what you want in your bowl, like you just want salmon, tuna and yellowtail and nothing else etc. I didn't do that this time since I like all fish. We also tried their fish collar, it was good too. We ordered the harusame salad for the kids, and the Musashi rolls. They liked it.
Glad to have a Musashi here and will...
Read moreWent to musashis for dinner on a Friday evening. It was really busy when we walked in and decided to get the food to go. Which was a good decision, while waiting for our food (about 20 minutes) we saw 3 orders returned to the kitchen because they got the wrong food. However I don’t blame the staff for that, I would blame management for not putting enough people on the floor to take orders, fill cups, seat people, bus tables and etc. For how busy they were, they really needed one more in the front and maybe one more in the kitchen. I really think the owner is just trying to save money, but she/he is only going to hurt their product with poor customer service.
The food was good and value was solid. We got a chirashi bowl, spicy salmon roll and a beef sukiyaki bowl. My wife and I enjoyed our food a lot!
Would definitely recommend getting food to go if...
