In the area for the first time, this strip mall is full of goodies. We stopped after dinner at Albasha to satisfy our sweet tooth and it was not disappointing at all. They have an impressive display of choices and all look delicious. We had a hard time selecting so we bought a bunch of things -we overdid it, and that is okay as I had some for breakfast for the next few days - Lucky me I had Knafeh for the first time, it was delicious, and a few different types of baklava. I cannot name each mouth-watering morsel that we ordered - you cannot go wrong with whatever you select. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Out by me in the Huntley area there’s nothing like this place around. You have to drive towards Chicago. I found this beautiful place on Google maps while searching for Ethnic Arabic food and deserts. So, I took my daughter with for the experience and joy of trying something different. As a Middle Eastern myself I remember doing the same with my father growing up. Hands down very impressed with the bakery. I’ll be coming back as often as I can. The picture is of my daughter and I with the owner and his son. Thanks for the great conversations.

I had a wonderful experience! I found exactly what I wanted and the gentleman was very welcoming and nice. I’m not too knowledgeable of middle eastern sweets but I love baklava and I ended up leaving with more because they took the time to explain the desserts to us and were very accommodating. In addition, the place looks very clean and has a good ambiance. The price was very reasonable and I found it cheaper than other similar spots.

Horrible experience. I purchased Kanafah for Thanksgiving for a family gathering. Worst mistake ever. The sweets were COLD when I got home. I called back to advise the manager and received the worst hospitality ever. They told me to let it pass as a one time mistake, then advised me to put it in the oven. Why would I pay $40 for sweets to come home and put it in the oven when there’s already a turkey in the oven. We could have made sweets at home. Manager started cursing at me as if it was my fault. NEVER HAVE I EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK. NOT A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. I’d rather take my...

I would say BEST of the BEST sweets in illinois!! Even much better than Dearborn Michigan (shatella).we went to this shop on 12/24 very nice guy( to me a young boy) smile on his face, served us very nicely, not even that have us tasted some sweets. Very fresh and quality. One sweet ( don't remember the name) looks good asked him to taste, but he already mentioned to us you guys might not liked it because old people from back home likes this😀😀 and he was 100% right. Good thing is his memory was great( MashaAllah) he picked the once we have ordered( 8 different kind ) he gave us some of pistachios rolls free!!...
