A simply sublime establishment. The first time I found the hidden gem that is,"the Country Cup," I knew it was going to be one of the finest dining experiences I would ever get the chance to have. Manny and his son Louie (there is a menu item named after him) are the greatest restaurant owners in the industry, they are the nicest people and treat you like you are family. As a regular, I am greeted by them every time they are here if they arent busy and given sublime hospitality. The first time I'd ever shown someone this place, it was one of my best friends and we had just gotten back from partaking in a "recreational" activity. Starved from the endeavor, I decided to drive to "this cool place i found, dude." DJ Shadow blaring from my Lexuses' stereo, we set out. Taking the vibrant journey down Joliet Road from the busy I-55, we saw the sign. "Rolling Meadows", we had arrived. Ever since then I hold the Country Cup in the highest regards, it is the only place i recommend to family and friends for fine eatery, even if they live in Wisconsin. The food is worth the journey. I wish this place many more years, and if you, the readers ever get a chance to dive into the most hidden gem in Illinois, you...

We should have left because the waitress was miserable and looked and acted very unhappy. She may have had too many tables, maybe a bad morning, maybe she's just that way, I don't know but whatever her issue was should not be taken out on patrons. She would ask if we were okay as she walked past us not stopping to make sure we had everything, which we did not. Never again. Food was basic breakfast food....
