I normally don't like to give a restaurant bad review but this is the 2nd time I have had a bad experience at this particular Captain D's. My family and I came in at 9:25 pm to dine in and a cashier did approach us and ask us what we wanted. We told her we needed a few minutes to decide. Then another lady came out without a name tag and took our order and told us that she was out of tea because they were about to close. Then she started talking about how she had to get out of there. While we were waiting on our food someone came up to the drive thru and the same lady said "damn!" And started hollering across the restaurant for someone to find out what they wanted. Then she said "I'm trying to get outta here!" A few minutes went by and she yelled "Did they leave?" Then she asked someone to lock the door but before they could another 2 customers walked in. It was only 9:40pm. It took several minutes for anyone to help them. She went ahead and locked the door. My family was very uncomfortable. We did not feel welcome. Once we got our food we needed ranch dressing and I didn't even want to ask for it. I did anyway but while I was at the counter I had to listen to the same lady complain about someone screwing up her schedule and making her stay late. We couldn't even enjoy our food. Once while were eating someone flicked the lights off and on a few times I suppose to give us a hint. We just ate quickly and got out of there. I checked the time as we walked out and it was 10:03pm, just 3 minutes after they were scheduled to close. The other 2 customers left at the same time as us and we spoke to them in the parking lot. They were upset about their experience as well and are planning on calling the corporate office. I will be doing the same because something needs to change.    Read moreThe customer service here sucks đ the young woman who took our order looked like we was an inconvenienced to her just by ordering she took her precious time taking our order first of all she filled ice after she took someone order before us, then when she finally did she had a annoyed look on her face, took my order asked did I want a drink I said yes a unsweetened tea, and afterwards she took others order fixed their drinks but didn't fix ours. She was all over the place talking to the drive-thru person while other customers was walking in waiting to place their order. She walked away and went in the back all the while our order had came up, and people still waiting to place their orders. So the drive-thru person had to come give us our food and fix our drinks all the while said they didn't even have no unsweetened tea ready make it make sense so I had to choose another drink.    Read moreOrdered online to pickup in store. Door was locked. Worker let people inside eating out and I asked her to let me in to get my food. She responded I would have to get in the drive thru. I responded no, I ordered online and have been able several times to come inside and get my order before. No mention of this requirement when I ordered online. Isn't that the reason for ordering online, to save time as we only had an hour for our lunch break. The drive thru lane was packed. When asked to see the manager the worker turned around and locked the door in front of me and did not return. Workers like this can destroy a business, sorry for the franchisee. They need much better management. I do not plan on coming back. As suspected here we are a week or two from my complaint to the corporate office and no answer to my complaint.
