This was my first time going here as I'm visiting the area. I did read some reviews beforehand, which the majority were good. I was with a few family members. When we walked in, a young girl, maybe ten years old, seated us. She took us to a table in the middle of the room, when just a little further where others were seated were booths, so I said that we would prefer a booth. As soon as we sat down, a man came to the table to ask what we wanted to drink..Can we get a minute to open the menu Smh.. I know many places have the usual to drink, but I still like to see it on menu, which upon looking, I didn't see any sodas, juices or ice tea. I did see alcoholic beverages, which we had two youngsters with us, so we would have preferred a juice menu! Anyway, let me make this quicker, my six year old( as of yesterday), had to get up & walk three feet away to get straws for our water!, being that I think Eduardo the so called waiter was too busy.. A few minutes later, he forgot to give us forks!! Ugh.. I told my relative that he is quickly working towards no tip.. My relative & I were shocked how fast the food came out!! We had four orders of food & it came out in about six minutes!! Wowww, not sure I liked that, too fast for me . & sure enough, my relative said that her rice was not hot.. & come to think of it, my food could have been hotter. The salsa & chips were good. I liked my taco shell lol. We asked for take home containers, 5 minutes later Eduardo still had not brought them, so I flagged down another waitress & she brought them & then here comes Eduardo a minute later with one container & he said "O you already go one"? He needs training!!! No tip left & I will not be in a hurry to go here the next time...
Read moreThe only reason I'm giving this establishment 3 stars is because of one of their servers. Overall the food, drinks & the attentiveness of the manager and our new awesome waitress, Ashley is 5 stars.
My friend frequents this place often so I decided to give a try. I usually go to the location on Zebulon Rd. Our "first" waitress was a short white girl with glasses who had her hair in a ponytail. For one, she rushed us as if we was an inconvenience to her. We only had been seated for 3 minutes before we could see what we wanted to order. After messing up our drinks, confusing our orders and refusing to write anything down, she went to get our food orders. As she was tossing (yes, tossing) our foods on the table, she hits my friend in the forehead with a hot plate of food. With the driest and ingenuine tone she says, "I'm sorry what you want me to do about it we close in ten minutes?". Mind you, we arrived an hour before closing & other patrons was still coming in, being greeted and offered seats with no problem. After stating she would pay for the meal, she goes throughout the restaurant pushing tables and yelling out sideway comments such as "childish", "ratchet", etc. I then got up to ask for a manager because the server is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and mad at US because SHE WAS THROWING FOOD ON THE TABLE.
It's plenty of other people who need jobs and would be grateful to have one. If you are not in the business of giving great customer service, you need a change in career. Do not run away patrons from this restart because of your attitude.
Thanks to Ashley & the manager who was nice and polite and saved our...
Read moreThis restaurant was amazing. My partner and I moved down here recently and have been trying, without success, to find a good Mexican restaurant. Everywhere else we've gone, the chips were stale, the cheese dip was watery, the salsa was canned, the list goes on and on. Here though? Fajitas Mexican Grill blew it out of the park for us. Immediately upon sitting down, we were greeted with steaming hot fresh chips and salsa that was so fresh. Listen folks, the free chips and salsa is a good indicator of how good a place is gonna be. And we knew right away that this place was gonna be great. The queso was really good. When cheese dip like that cools, it congeals and after finding several places with watered down cheese dip, we were glad to see the skin on the top of our queso. I only wish we had more. The service was incredible, super speedy and the waitress, who's name we did not get, was incredibly accommodating and helpful. When my partner pulled her side and asked if they did anything for birthdays, she said she'd take care of it, and by god she did. The food came out so fast and it was so good. The Texas Fajitas is definitely going on my "get this every time" list. Oh and the margarita!! I got the strawberry frozen margarita, medium, which was honestly more like a large. It was wonderfully mixed, and so delicious. Overall, I think we found our new Mexican place :) Highly recommend coming here if you're...
