Ok so what was a Happy Sunday turned into hell. The devil sure knows how to disrupt. But let me dive into what happened. My husband and I went through drive thru at Dairy Queen on Log cabin and ordered 4 large milkshakes. Mind you now my husband specifically said 2 large Caramel, 1 large Chocolate. and 1 large Vanilla MILKSHAKES!! So after pulling to the window and receiving our order, we noticed that our order was wrong. Instead of receiving 4 large shakes we received 4 Sundaes and after pulling off we noticed and instantly went on the inside, which was very inconvenient. I went on the inside of the store and told the store manager or owner whichever his title is "Todd" what happened and he told his employee to take the ice cream from the sundaes and put them into a milkshake cup, and by this time I'm like no that's nasty so could you please remake my milkshakes fresh, as they should. I look at that as cross contamination and just flat out unsanitary and when I asked Todd the manager if it was him in my shoes would he eat or drink it he couldn't even give me a direct answer. Even one of the employees that was working said she heard my husband ask for milkshakes. After him refusing to make it right, I asked for my refund and he said NO! So by this point I'm in disbelief and a bit of shock so I asked him again and he said no again and I responded back to him that Customers are always Right and he kept saying no I can't refund you and I'm not gonna refund you because you cursed while talking to him but Todd you a whole liar! He had already refused my request and that's why I got upset and cursed while talking to him but I didn't curse at him. There's a big difference! After I didn't get a resolution with Todd the store manager that's when I called the police and let them knew what was going on and the police told me what do since it was out of their hands. I really don't want to go that route with the court but I want all of my money back or my 4 freshly remade large shakes. I don't understand why would Todd put his reputation on the line for something that could've been handled better and more professionally. My experience today says everything I need to know about him. And he had the nerve to be rude with me after he messed up my order and tried to get his employees to coincide with him. I stand 10 toes down on what my husband ordered, I heard him and he ordered correctly so just admit to your mistake Dairy Queen and make it right. If I take the police advice and take this matter to civil court it's going to cost the company way more what they stole from me which was $18 and I say stole because I didn't get my money nor my order so basically they got free money from me. What type of business is that and to rip a customer off is insane. He even touched all over the incorrect order and tried to show me how he would switch the ice cream over.🤢🤢 The proof is in the picture and I asked him "where's your gloves?" Just nasty! Then my husband went inside to calmly speak with him about his order for himself and Todd whole demeanor changed after he saw a MAN come inside. He put on a fake smile for my husband and he walked away came back and said "the police are on their way" which didn't make sense at all, My husband said OK! I have it all on video. We both waited and waited for them to arrive but they never came so that's when we both politely left the store. But why did he call the police??? My husband and I opposed no threat to him we just wanted our correct order or refund. And when we walked in we didn't see our messed up order on the counter anymore so where did it go? He even kept the incorrect order, what a shame. We left with absolutely...
Read moreI don’t usually review places, but when people are rude to me, I must respond. This is the straw that broke the camel’s back. The person that runs this Dairy Queen is unprofessional, ignorant, and childish. A while back which means more than a year ago, I went through the drive through couldn’t decide what I want and wanted to add on at the window. The person was irritated and has since then held that over my head as if I’m some type of outcast or reject. It’s not like other customers haven’t done the same! I haven’t appreciated that and have always felt awkward about getting food here. Today, I wanted to exchange a drink that was too sweet for something else, and this rude money hungry (don’t wanna call people out their name) person said no you can’t so nasty to me talking about “ you know we know each other”…… That’s not how you respond professionally and maturely to a customer or another adult especially when running a business. That was so long ago. Really???? Let it go.
This was my second run in with this human being. I’ll refrain from visiting this Dairy Queen. I was so mad and wanted to throw the food...
