Terrible experience! Walked in... zero acknowledgement! Finally seated .. after 17+ mins! ( after I began timing) Place was trashed , all tables were dirty! Cool, I understand! I’ve been there! They must have had a rush of customers! We are now 30 mins in... no sign of a server! (At least not those who seem to be on the floor actively) Looked around after the ridiculous amount of waiting time to notice we are indeed the only white colored people in the building...everyone else was being served. Including the two black chicks who were in line after us but chose to sit at the bar. I guess the locals know that’s the best way to get any attention, because the bar was crowded with only 4 tables of other customers all together. Server finally shows up, takes our drink order... we are an hour into our journey here already🙄🤔... server was very polite! Wish I got her name ! We ordered a sprite and bud light... 13 mins later ( I’m literally timing everything to make sure I’m not loosing it for no reason!) says she put the bud light order in and will be back to take our order! She does and takes our order. I request she bring 2 bud lights instead since it’s taking so long. Another 9 mins go by.. nothing! I think I’ll just go and pay cash for the bud light at the bar and bring it back! Obviously, we’re gonna need to chill! Bartender sees me, says nothing ! Walks past me several times as though I’m invisible but makes eye contact with me each time! I stand there, trying to remain calm and he finally says , “oh I’ll be right back with you, I’m sorry.” 😆 then comes back to the bar and asked 2 additional bar customers if they were ready to cash out! Instead of coming to me for a simple beer bottle you pull out of the cooler ! 🙄🤔 Apparently he is also the manager!! 😳😫 which explained a lot! I’d just recommend if you aren’t local then you need to know pale skin isn’t welcome! Don’t waste your time here! Wish someone would’ve warned me in...
Read moreI was very disappointed in: first the service. Next: the food. After 3 attempts at trying to place my order by telephone to no avail due to a language barrier, a person came to the phone who was fond of addressing me as "Love". I repeated the same order to him expressly mentioning that I did not want any fries but would prefer cole slaw with a side of corn. After 2 more attempts at explaining it I thought he had it and he repeated my order back to me. I went to get it within 10 to 15 minutes. I waited a few minutes when I got there, I paid for it and I returned home. Lo and behold I discover that they have given me a pile of fries. No cole slaw in sight. I called and was told by the same girl to come back and they would fix it ..all I have to do is come back and they would give me the cole slaw. That was not a solution for me because I do not live close by and did not want to make the drive back to remedy their mistake. I spoke to the Mgr who was laughing about it in the background before coming to the phone. He offered the same solution. I asked for a partial refund. He said my only option was to come and get the cole slaw. I would also like to add that my food tasted like it had been frozen and only partially microwaved. I strongly feel my food item may have been purposely switched due to the phone ordering drama OR, just an incompetent staff. Suffice it to say, I will patronize the "other" Crab place(s) in Macon, where I have received great customer service...
Read moreThe disrespect. (For reference, I was a party of 5 people and we arrived at 8:50 pm.) We called ahead and were informed that their was a 10 minute wait. Because that sounded too good to be true we put our name down on the list before coming. Once we arrived, we waited 30 minutes, among 5 other different parties, to be acknowledged by a hostess (because the staff walking by would avoid eye contact with everyone waiting). After another 10 minutes, we were finally seated. Once seated, we waited another 30 minutes for a waiter to take our drink orders (we decided to order our food then too). We waited 20 minutes (watching those who were seated after us eat) to get our drinks. When the waitress brought our drinks, I asked how long our food would be. She replied "it's probably ready, so now"and then didn't bring it out till 20 minutes later. Our waitress dropped our food on the ground on accident, didn't apologize, and gave it to us as if she wasn't standing right in front us when she dropped it. My friend asked for a side of butter for her crab and they never brought it out but charged he $1 for it anyways. After we tried to speak to the manager, we were still treated horribly and waited again to be checked out while someone was smoking weed...
