Wendy's — Restaurant in Macon

I went to this Wendy’s on my lunch break. I don’t care to use the drive thru when I go to a fast food restaurant, I like to go inside and place my order. The door on the right side of the building was locked so I got back in my car and drove around to the other door and tried to enter. The young lady at the drive thru stuck her head out the window to inform me that the dining room was closed to the public. As I was going back to my car I watched others drive up and attempt to go inside. I thought about leaving all together and I witnessed some people do just that, but I really had a craving for one of their burgers. I circled around again and got at the end of the drive thru line. What should have been a pleasant lunch break enjoyed at the local Wendy ‘s ended up with me spending almost all my break waiting in a drive thru and me eating in my hot car on a 97 degree day. When I did get my food a receipt wasn’t given to me, upon my asking for one I was told my debit card would have to be swiped again. That could have possibly resulted in a second charge so I declined which meant I wasn’t sure if I was charged the correct amount. Upon eating my food neither my fries nor my burger were hot. I usually like this location but lately they’ve been giving me cold or stale food in the mornings, they charged my boyfriend for a large but gave him a small, and I’ve been finding fabric hairs in my fries. I’m not going back to this location for a while after the hair, but they do have new staff recently. I’m assuming it’s a learning period right now. I hope to rate higher someday because, again, I usually love this location.

Update: 6 months later, and I’ve been trying to give this place another shot. Hasn’t been great but it’s been decent.

Today, however, they served my boyfriend raw chicken on his spicy chicken sandwich. He only consumed a few bites, but he’s been throwing up. The location asked for him to come back to the store, but no one ever asked to see the sandwich and we sat for over 40 minutes waiting for the manager. I finally went up to the counter and was told no one told the manager there was a customer waiting, and I was also told they would give another meal of equal value but no refunds. Mind you, we still haven’t been asked to see the raw chicken sandwich. Why would we want more food if the food preparation was the issue?

Had the worst breakfast I have had in awhile I couldn't even eat it and was to far to go back i ordered 2 honey buttered chicken biscuits the biscuit was a frozen prepared biscuit which I knew when going over there and am fine with this but, it was so hard and dark and I don't mean brush with honey butter drinched is the word! And looked like it had been cooked a long time ago and the chicken had dried out and if course it had honey on it and shouldn't have my guess should be they did this so you wouldn't notice how over cooked and extremely dry it was $7.40 I gave it to some cats at the convenience store and got McDonald's crispy chicken biscuit which was average but, edible and as expected Wendy's you should just stop serving breakfast it is horrible when you first came out with the honey butter chicken biscuit I got it a few times with no honey butter but, decided today would be the day I tried it and boy was it bad I should have taken no cars in the drive thru as a sign but, through caution to the wind sure didn't want to give this review but, it's just...
