Our absolute favorite “hidden” gem in the area. We frequented there when we lived in Madison Heights, now we moved (not far) to royal oak and just nothing compares so we always make the trip for crazy sushi!! So fresh and delicious. The crazy dancing and crazy love rolls are top favorites of ours. The owner is super friendly and always accommodating. We’ve never had a bad experience ! Would definitely recommend 10/10. (California roll, Double Double + dancing sauce, and Crazy Love pictured).

One of the best bang for buck sushi places in SE Michigan. The rice was on point and the portions of fish on the nigiri and in the rolls was solid, bordering generous. Basically one chef doing everything, so service is a little slow, but also means that each item is personally prepared and made by him. Chef has a rough exterior and demeanor but is a softie inside so don’t be intimidated. Only thing to keep in mind is that the seating is somewhat limited, so no great for big crowds.

We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The prices are an extremely good deal for the portions (huge) and quality of food. This is probably one of my favorite sushi places. The hours can be a little unregular as there is only one sushi chef. We always check they are open before we go. Totally worth it though!

I see why they call it crazy sushi because the man behind the counter is completely insane. I wanted to let my mom try some sushi for mothers day since she never had it but the man making the sushi was incredibly rude and disrespectful. He told us to come in ten minutes then when we arrived 10 minutes later he yelled at me saying it hadn't been ten minutes yet. So after waiting another five minutes where he made other various rude remarks towards me regarding my area code (I still don't understand) and age he finally gave us our sushi which was soggy, limp and falling apart. He also decided to completely cover it in soy sauce and sesame seeds which was incredibly gross and random. I ordered two shrimp tempera rolls and it was 16.45 and he didn't want to give me a receipt either. Long story short I will NOT be eating her again and I do not recommend it to anyone who...

First time here and it was really great. I ordered a new roll I haven't ever had, a fried tofu roll. It was great! The tofu was slightly sweet and the rice on all of my rolls was nice and sticky. The restaurant is take out only. I am only giving 4/5 stars for service because it did take a while. With that being said, it was a one man shop so he is a busy guy. The wait is acceptable for just 1 person working there, but maybe order ahead of you are starving. The worker was friendly enough. Prices were comparable to other restaurants (but I cannot speak of the specialty rolls because I never get those anywhere). They also sold a variety of pop in a can if you wanted a beverage. I...

WORMS!!! I ordered sushi a few times for myself and a friend. The last time I ordered anything here was when I ordered an appetizer of edamame. I got into my fourth or fifth edamame morsel when I discovered a MEAL WORM in one of the pods, staring me in the face. I haven't been able to look at edamame the same way and haven't eaten it since thanks to this place. I feel sick just thinking about it...yuck! Also their sushi is mediocre and the service is very slow. Go somewhere else; you can do better for yourself. SAVE...
