There are TWO serious issue with KFC when it comes to their Grilled Chicken. It's either not available (some locations don't carry it) or they give you ridiculously small portions!
I visited 4 different locations (Royal Oak - Greenfield Rd, Royal Oak - 11 Mile Rd, Madison Heights - 12 Mile Rd., Dearborn - Ford Rd.) and speaking with one of the franchise owners, he told me that 2 of his three locations (both Royal Oak) don't carry Grilled Chicken because the demand is too low. And that their Madison Heights location at times won't have it available.
I posted the portion size for the Dearborn location on that Google Map location however the attached image on this review is the latest portion size from the Madison Heights location. The biscuit is BIGGER than the chicken!

Read moreEvery time I come here after 9:30pm, they're out of almost everything. The reason is because they close at 10:00pm and don't want to make things. Popcorn chicken? Better come around noon if you want some of that. Mashed potatoes and gravy? Good luck. Better come when they open. I understand not wanting to have a ton of leftovers at the end of the night. But don't you think it'd be a good idea to figure out a way to make things in small enough batches so if someone comes 30 minutes before you close you can make them what they want?
