I was very disappointed when my husband and I arrived 9/19/20, no one was at the counter we waited for a few minutes. We finally had to yell hello hello hello and finally after a couple of minutes two employees came from the back. The girl had her cell phone in her hand and the boy was laughing. There was a cup of chocolate ice cream sitting there melting. The girl took our whole order, only to find out there was no hotdogs, the boy said they ran out the day before. Also she kept stating she was new and had to keep leaving the register to get help from the other employee. This was one of my husband's and I favorite DQ in the Detroit area, it was considered one of the cleanest too. I'm not sure if Ken is still the owner or if he was just off for the weekend? Because he really kept the place up. But now it seems like all the other restaurants in Detroit! They dont care about customer service, cleaness, or if you get what you pay for, and that's sad. I only gave them one star because we have RESPECT for the owner Ken, ( I'm sure he didn't know about all this)otherwise I wouldn't of gave them any!
Great customer service, but the place is VERY FILTHY and while waiting in the drive thru line one of the workers held up the line holding a conversation with a friend in the dru thru line ( rude). So I will unfortunately still keep...
Read moreThe Dairy Queen's drive-through and lobby were not busy when I arrived to enjoy a blizzard treat. When I walked up to the counter, NOT one of the multiple workers acknowledged me with a smile or a hello. The one tall lady made eye contact with me, but made no move to help me. She did not appear to be making any orders and was able to have a conversation with one of her other coworkers. She simply called over another worker to take my order. The worker who took my order was polite. Yet, she did not explain to me that I would have to answer some questions on the pin pad before paying for my order. I work in retail, and I always have to make sure my customers understand what they may have to fill out on the pin pad. Overall, my blizzard treat was good, but the customer service was poor. I am very hesitant to come back to the store because the workers do not exemplify some of the basic customer service skills. Training in customer service is desperately needed for the workers at this Dairy Queen location.
Update: I decided to give the Dairy Queen location another try. My experience was very pleasant! I had prompt service and two kind ladies handed me my treats. I will most definitely go back...
Read moreI went here to get two blizzards. One blizzard was free because I did the surgery on a receipt I had from a previous order. When I ordered I mentioned to them that I had a coupon for a free blizzard. One of the blizzards I order was the New York Royal Strawberry Cheesecake blizzard. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! It’s like they served me a blizzard that was already sitting out to melt!! They didn’t even stick the spoon in the blizzard and turned it upside down! That’s how i knew they were just serving me ANYTHING!!! Last but not least I don’t know what it is about the little ingredients that they are using now. They used to have REAL strawberries and actually chunks of cheesecake in this blizzard. After getting served what I got, I will not be coming here again. The drive shows as well that they have lost a-lot of customers. Im sure because of the quality of the ice cream, Not because of the customer service because...
