I think Charles was his name, but I had asked the gentleman who was standing up front about my to go order and he just kinda had an attitude, didn't say anything walked off asked the manager. The manager came up, asked me about to go, she said it wasn't ready with an attitude. Tell me it'll be a few more minutes and I'll like. Okay, that's cool. I was just wanting to bend here for about 10 minuteshe said yeah, you're not the only person here, she proceeds to go to the back. Is walking around grabs? A piece of butter toast starts eating that in between the area where the food goes on trays and on the other side it's like Bev station area, and she's eating walking back-and-forth she goes through the back door to the right wiping. Your hands with a napkin throws a napkin out. And then she goes pulls food straight from the window with hands. That have not been washed after she got done eating and then put a lid on the food that I had ordered brought up to the front. Had an attitude for whatever reason. I asked her to give me ketchup and she went to the back and grabbed it Came back had a attitude and told Minto have a great day with an attitude. I'm not sure what kind of customer service is going on over there, but that manager is not managing and then to teach your employees to have that type of demeanor with customers is completely out of line and I went in there for something super simple like getting my baby alone. So thank you for the horrible experience. The cook's did an awesome job making the fries...
Read moreHORRIBLE service. My church decided to have lunch there after celebrating the church anniversary. Our pastor stopped by Denny's the day before, and told them we were coming in Sunday afternoon. They declined reserving a seating area, claiming they don't make reservations. We showed up the next day with a group of 30. It's very close to our church, by about a block or two down the road. So we are standing there waiting, and 45 minutes later, watching them seat customer after customer, and noticing that they have an entire room that is empty with plenty of tables--more than a dozen, I asked someone if they would have problems seating us. They said they don't know. Finally, I ask again, and we are told that the room in the back with the extra tables would not be made available to us. We are not given a reason. I inform the pastor, he goes up and talks to someone. We are again told, that the room in the back will not be used, and that they would like us to wait until the people eating at the tables are finished with their food before they will seat us. Weird! And poor customer service. Not to mention, they are still seating people in that area. So after wasting almost an hour of our time, we leave and eat somewhere else, which was there loss, as they are the ones who did not make hundreds of dollars in business. It was obvious that Denny's was up to its old tricks. Not to mention, I got food poisoning there ten years ago. So two reasons never to visit there again....
Read moreEDIT: We tried again thinking 5th times a charm... Ice cold food, raw in the middle and all wanted was a crepe breakfast. Ended up only eating the crepe and just died inside a little. My father in laws was fine but my husbands was ice cold.
My husband and I used to come here for what felt like every month for a year, but as of late the quality is dropping hard. The last 4 times in a row our food has come out either ice cold or barely room temperature but todays visit was awful. The coffee tasted burnt and like it has been sitting out for an hour, his grand slam was room temperature and my food was raw and ice cold to the touch with old bacon. The kind that's super thin, dripping with grease because it's been sitting in a bin for the past 4 hours. I asked him for a fresh plate (which he was super nice about) but he returned 5 mins later with the same exact food but the bacon looked different than the one I sent back, it had a bite missing from it and was colder..:/ The only thing hot was the hashbrowns so I. So I only ate two pancakes and I'm a bit dissatisfied.
The customer service here is incredibly apologetic and they try so had to make it better, but cant help it If the kitchen staff likes to cut as many corners as possible. Defiantly not worth the 17+ dollars.
Also, if a guest orders decaf. Give them decaf because some of us cant drink regular coffee so my heart and gut thank you for...
