Decent food. Poor service. My girlfriend and I visited on Valentines Day night. We had booked a reservation online but it was not listed in their book when we arrived. It wasn't very busy at all so we were able to get a table right away, after the hostess/server cleared the table. We weren't offered chips & salsa until after ordering but we just chalked it up to having just cleared the table. We weren't ever offered water. Also not a huge deal, just seemed like basic things every restaurant or Mexican restaurant does. We ordered a couple cocktails. They took a while to make as this was another task for the same person, now a hostess/server/mixologist. The Pina colada didn't seem to have any alcohol in it. The purple dragon seemed to be ok though. We gave our food order and I specifically asked if all of the burrito Mexican had beans in it or was that just a choice like chicken & beef were. She said beans come in both with the chicken & beef. I ordered 1 chicken & 1 beef and said I do want beans also in both. She nodded and assured me that would happen. It did not. Neither burrito had beans. The red sauce was good & had a bit of spiciness. The chicken one was ok and the beef one was pretty bland. My gf had tacos vaqueros (steak). She didn't like them so I had 2 of the 3 next day warmed up for lunch. I thought they were just ok. The hot sauce was nice. Pretty spicy. Can't really judge the freshness a day later though. We ordered the chimi cheesecake dessert (which was pretty tasty) from a different server who came to check on us. It took a long time and the original server had come back and asked if we wanted the check. We said sure. She took 10 minutes to bring the check. Server #2 finally brought the dessert and apologized for the delay, gave a discount, and took our card for the check. He got distracted by a large group of ladies and took their pictures for them and finally brought the credit card back. It was our first time there and with so many other options we would probably not try the place again. Also, the Mexican music was nice for atmosphere, however it kept cutting in & out for a few songs. The decor was sparse compared to other Mexican restaurants I've been to. There were 4 or 5 tv's playing a college basketball game and at least 3 were delayed a couple seconds from each other so it was kind of distracting & off-putting for me. Might not bother others though, so I definitely didn't factor that into my score.

Amazing food. The ‘chicken chimichanga’ (attached picture is after a little picking) and ‘chicken burrito a la carte’ were ordered. Both delicious. You can get the chicken grilled or shredded; did shredded for chimichanga and grilled for burrito. Both were delicious and fitting to each item. Menu may read as though listed ingredients are stuffed inside of some of the items, but they’re on the side. They have a flavorful salsa that comes with their free chips, a tad thin in consistency, but really doesn’t matter, flavor over-ruled. You can also get a hotter salsa if you ask. Flavor of the hot is good, gives the tongue a little zing at the end, I highly suggest it depending on your heat tolerance. Aside from the food, the service was great. The gal that greeted us was super friendly, attentive, and or impatient. I WILL definitely go back; have already begun to spread the word to local friends.

I stopped in here on a whim after work around 4pm on a Saturday. There was only one other table besides myself, but I have to assume that it was only because of the time. I ate at the bar and was helped by a very sweet server. Chips and salsa were fresh, and the salsa had a bit of a kick but nothing too spicy. For my entree I had the chiles rellenos, and they were absolutely stunning and mouth watering. The chiles were very generously stuffed with tender chunks of pork and cheese and drowned in a flavorful red sauce. I asked for no beans as I don't love the texture, so the cooks gave me an extra large helping of their fluffy and savory rice. Don't skip one of their margaritas, I had the house on the rocks which was the perfect compliment to my meal. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity of food received! I can't wait to go back and try their other specialties.

I can say their margaritas are very good, on the other hand we had a few issues. I want to preface this and say that 2 of us went and ate in the restaurant on a Saturday with less than 50% occupancy in the restaurant. Our experience consisted of slow service, waiting upwards of 45min for our food as well as having to ask 3 times for water as the margaritas are a bit strong.

We ordered 2 separate orders of tacos, one the fish and the other hard shelled beef as well as one order of the packer burrito.

The burrito came out hot and tasted good. We did expect the beans that come in the burrito to be black or pinto beans not refried beans.

The fish tacos came out first and were slightly warmer than room temperature, we sent those back and got them back warmer, unfortunately we didn’t get the rice and beans that were supposed to come with the fish tacos.

The hardshell beef tacos originally came out with soft shell and when we got those back with hard shells they were the same temperature of the original fish tacos.

When I asked to speak to the manager, there was not one on site and the person I spoke to did not know what to do to make things right. . Not sure if I...

Beautiful place! Design decor and the set up is first class. I stopped in once and they were about to close for lunch and I ordered something to go.Took it home it was just OK. Month later took my brother-in-law and stopped in there for dinner. Amazing that every place in town is busy and this place is dead. I think great! 16-year-old boy tried to service and take an order. He had no idea how to take our order correctly. Had to bring over his manager who is the cook. I thought we straightened it out. The beans and rice excellent. Crispy shell tacos tasted manufactured. Got the order wrong. And the cook who heard me right denied that he was part of the order and was just listening. I didn’t finish most of my dinner. The boy was kind and took the plates away. They charged us full price. They’ll be many places for me to spend my money on great food and great service but it won’t be here. Now I know why they’re slow at...
