Hardee’s — Restaurant in Madison

I’ve been meaning to try this place for months but they’re not open for dinner so it has been difficult. Back in the day Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr were great so I figured I’d see if this location has kept it up. I got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a Diet DP. My fries were fresh but oversalted. Parts of my burger were okay- the lettuce was fresh. But the burger itself was not fresh and tasted like a cafeteria burger with little flavor. The bacon was good though and helped. I was given ranch and “chicken dippn” sauce and both were about to expire and you could taste that it was off. My diet DP tasted weird as well, like the carbonation wasn’t mixing well with the flavoring in their machine. I may try to come grab a biscuit in the future and see if it’s better because not many places serve breakfast until Noon. The staff working the drive thru...

I ordered the Big Hot Ham ' Cheese because I had a coupon that made it $3. It met the expectations of being $3. It definitely wasn't awful, and they're very generous with the amount of ham that they put on the sandwich, but I mean, how much can you say about a ham and cheese sandwich? It tastes like a ham and cheese sandwich.

The service was efficient and accurate for my order. However, while I was waiting, a gentleman came in from the drive-thru because his order was made incorrectly. I empathize with that man, but my food was fine, so I won't judge on that part.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is pretty outdated, but once again it's a fast food restaurant, I'm not eating there for a luxury dining experience.

Overall, I would return to this Hardee's location and probably order the Big Hot Ham and...

I haven’t written a review about the fact that this location opens late due to people not showing up on time to open. It’s now pretty consistent so I’m speaking up. Your customers rely on you to be open when they leave their home and decide to come here for breakfast. Nothing else is open at this hour. (Between 4a-5a). Going to work on an empty stomach sucks.

I called while I was in the DT and was told they were waiting on another person to show up and it could be another 30 minutes. (I waited the 30 minutes and no one showed-not surprised at this point)

I have sat here and watched 20 cars in 8 minutes come to the drive-thru in hopes of getting a nice hot breakfast only to be met with silence at the speaker.

This is so disappointing.
