Started off with freshly baked bread and tasty in house made garlic butter yummy, then either salad or soup followed by generous portions, flavors dancing with exotic spices, and even the rice had a personality of its own—bursting with tastes I’ve never experienced before. Who knew rice could show off like that? If you’re craving a trip for your taste buds, this little gem serves up authentic dishes straight from Yemen and the Mediterranean. And guess what? This is their second location. (Excuse me… where have you been hiding all my life?) I’ve never been this excited to leave a review, but here we are. The owner—very young yes, however very tale ted and found his calling! He is the actual chef in the kitchen and is as kind as his food is flavorful. The waitress? Spot on. The restaurant itself? Clean, uncluttered, and refreshingly free of “too much decor.” And the music? Absolutely yes. Close your eyes, take a bite, and suddenly you’re sitting at a beachside café with waves in the distance and local tunes in the air. I can’t say enough good things about this place, hands down one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Huntsville! And its halal, and the flavors are absolutely authentic. You can tell the food is made with love and tradition, from the perfectly seasoned shawarma to the fresh tabbouleh and creamy hummus.

The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming — it feels more like visiting family than going out to eat. They truly care about your experience, and it shows in both the service and the food. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything is freshly prepared.

Don't waste your hard earned money.!!! This place is just another boom town gimmick.!! The large mixed grill barely feed one person with rice spread thinly across the large carry-out pan. I could count the cubes of meat. But, when you consider just how patheticly overcooked and dry. The kofta was, I discarded it. It was comparable to beef jerky. To add insult, humus was not packed along with the order of pitas. Bottom line, masal gibi.! So stop claiming to be a "Turkish eatery",!! I'd give Tazikis far more credit instead.
