I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HARVEST BISTRO FOR CATERING or for a meal in beautiful downtown Madison, NJ

My husband and I had a small private wedding so decided to host our first wedding anniversary party at our house for friends. We had never used a caterer, so I ask a friend for names. Harvest Bistro was one, so we went to dinner one evening to try it out. The food at dinner was so delicious, we decided not to try any other caterers! Thanks to Tushar, the owner, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience in every way.

Within two days after we had dinner, Tushar came to our house to discuss the menu and review the layout. Three weeks before the party he came over again to help finalize specifics.

Tushar and two servers from Harvest Bistro arrived at our house one hour before the party started and worked non-stop for four hours. He was personally involved in making and plating the food and ensuring everything went smoothly the entire time. Everything was amazing…the food, the presentation, the servers. They handled everything from setting up to leaving our kitchen spotless!

Guests remarked that the variety, quality, and presentation of the food were all over the top. Our menu included starters of cheese and light appetizer stations followed by a wide variety of delicious hot appetizers, all cooked to perfection and hand served to over 60 guests. When they left, our kitchen was cleaner then when they arrived! My husband and I were delighted there were a few leftovers, which he also put away for us. Guests are still raving about the food!

I can worry and be an overthinker, but he reassured me he would take care of everything and that we just needed to enjoy our anniversary party and that’s exactly what we did thanks to Harvest Bistro and Tushar!

Found this great place right here on Yelp! Was looking for a an excellent caterer for my business accounts and WOW is this place on point! The owner, Tushar, was wonderful on the phone with helping me figure out what would be the best fit for that particular event. It’s been over 8 months since I’ve used the catering on a weekly basis and the food is always fresh, on time delivery, and unique for each event!

I also bring some of my clients to lunch here. Anytime I know I’m heading over I just give the owner a call/text and he quickly responds and saves me the best spot (in my opinion) in the house. The cozy window seat with an awesome view!

If you haven’t guessed it by now..I’m absolutely in love with this place! Haha! Because wait...here’s the best part:

They also have DINNER 👏🏻SERVICE 👏🏻 I take my daughter here for dinner every once in a while. Walt, head chef, always makes sure my oh so picky eater is satisfied and leaves with a full belly and even saves a special desert for her. We always feel so at home here!

The grilled octopus on the dinner menu is to die for! Laid on top a bed of wilted spinach and quinoa. Topped with grilled red onion & roasted peppers with a delicious balsamic glaze.

Whether it be lunch, dinner, or catering...take my advice and...

Harvest Bistro offers “fresh to the table” food using quality, locally grown produce. For dinner, you can choose from an eclectic variety of tapas-style plates.

To start, we shared the coconut tuna ceviche served with gluten free rice crackers- a very refreshing appetizer. We also shared the Harvest tostones combo- THIS IS A MUST! The juicy, savory shredded pulled pork alone was amazing to have on its own! Each tostone had its own unique flavor, making it hard to Choose which one I loved most.

As entrees, we ordered salmon sliders and the braised short ribs. The salmon sliders came with a side of chips, the bread was fresh, soft and stacked. The braised short ribs were tender and flavorful served with purple potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms in a sauce you’d want to lick off the plate.

For dessert, we shared a pumpkin cheesecake, a tantalizing treat guarantee to satisfy any dessert lover!

It’s BYOB so make sure to pick up some vino to pair along with all these delicious plates. Service was top notch! I would definitely return when...
