Iron Chef Sushi — Restaurant in Madison

Delicious food, sushi and beyond! We got the edamame and pork gyoza for apps, and while both were delicious, these were easily the best gyoza we have had, especially the sauce. The sushi was fresh and tasty; there's a variety of classic and specialty rolls. My husband loves sake and tried this "cloudy sake" for the first time. He really enjoyed this one and said it was milky and sweet. I also highly recommend the fried ice cream if you have a sweet tooth; it's just like classic fair food! The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Be prepared to spend some money, but know you are buying quality food and a quality experience. Solid atmosphere no matter if you are eating inside or outside. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have a special occasion to celebrate and love...

This place is shame. When Iron Chef Sushi first opened, it was awesome- great food, great service, finally! An awesome local sushi spot in Madison.

Unfortunately, it is now under new management, and man, have they missed the mark. And honestly ruined what was a thriving restaurant.

Service is now absolutely terrible. Get ready to wait 60 minutes for drinks, and 2+ hours for any food. Even getting the bill took 30 minutes, it’s a joke.

Quality of the fish is 4/5, service is 0/5. And until that changes, iron chef sushi is not long for this world.

First time at this place. They watch you while you leave a tip and if you don’t tip an amount they like the waiter goes to the lady owner and she comes to confront you about it, definitely would not come again. I tipped $2 because the service was below mediocre and there was a lot of staff whispering and rarely anyone coming to check up on me for refills or if I needed anything else like that. They also gave me two different waiters so the one I would be tipping was one who didn’t do anything other than giving me a to go box and handing me the check.
