Nam's Noodle & Karaoke Bar — Restaurant in Madison

We called earlier in the day to reserve a room and they told us that reserving online was the only way to reserve a room. We reserved a room online and when we arrived, they gave our room away and told us that we should have called ahead of time, but we did. Then told us that waiting was the only way to get a room, but it wasn’t guaranteed. When we asked if there was any compensation for having our room given away, they said they could only give us 30 minutes for the room. We did our part as consumers on calling and following directions but this business couldn’t even give us proper service or even let us know ahead of time for cancellation. Very disappointing to travel so far for a business and have them give away the room. Really wish I could recommend this place, as it is one of the only establishments that offers private karaoke in town. Unfortunately, this place has one of the worst online reservation systems, which makes it impossible to actually reserve a room. MULTIPLE times now we’ve found out the day of that our reservation ‘didn’t go through’ despite having all the proper confirmations on our end. It’s also impossible to get anyone on the phone to confirm reservations. No one at the establishment is particularly concerned with making things right by their customers either it seems. If you do intend to book a room online, just make sure you’re able to confirm your reservations over phone well in advance, and have a back up plan for when your evening plans fall through because of the business’ lack of communication and...

Booked a karaoke room and came here for a 10th bday party with 7 kids and 2 adults during a Sunday (noonish). Didn’t know exactly what to expect but it turned out awesome and the kids were fighting over turns to sing. Bubble teas were the best we have had in town. Service was friendly. Food was hot/fresh and in-line quality wise with our other Chinese favs in the Madison area. You can eat right in the karaoke rooms. Karaoke equipment took a few minutes to figure out but wasn’t as bad as a few of the other reviews made it out to be (maybe they were older reviews?) Almost all songs could be downloaded on the machine. There were only 1-2 random songs that we couldn’t find during our visit.
