Wish I could give this god awful pit negative stars. If you want to never receive decent service and have to wait hours - then have the manager tell you you're dumb and the delivery driver answer with "so" - when the pizza is cold and dead - this is the best place for you. First time, the delivery was 2 hours late. The poor kid who delivered it broke down in tears because the guy before him screamed at him for being late. Horrified we gave him a tip and a hug and said it was okay - then we painstakingly ate our burnt cold pizza. Today, we ordered at 11:55 am with an expected delivery time of 12:39 PM. Right around 1:15 PM, our pizza was finally delivered after a phone call to an employee who has the personality of a dead kitten with rabies, said and I quote "Well there is a lot of traffic today." What an intelligent epiphany! Traffic in downtown Madison WOW. When I tried to tell him this is the second time this has happened he talked over me and then hung up. (Keep in mind my location is about 5 blocks away)When we showed the delivery guy the taco pizza and how the cheese was now hard as a rock and the lettuce was so wilted it was barely there - he snickered and said "What do you want me to do about it?" So once again we had a rock hard cold pizza and a bunch of attitude. We were only able to get a few bites in before we gave up and tossed it in the can (someone literally broke a tooth and it had food poisoning all over it). So now, we pooled our coins together to eat out of the vending machine - we had enough to split a can of soda, a small bag of chips and a sandwich between four people. If you want this kind of experience and abuse - this place is for you. I however will be ordering from Ian's or Glass Nickel from now on. They might be more expensive, but at least I won't have to pretend we live...

I placed an order for a business event. I was using a corporate card so I couldn’t leave a tip with the card. Knowing this, I placed the order online and picked it up myself. When I signed the receipt the Topper’s employee got upset that I was not leaving a tip. I tried to explain my situation, but he walked away complaining that I didn’t leave a tip and then told me to “get outta here!” Upset about this, I called the manager who wasn’t very helpful. I actually think it was the same person that was rude to me at the store. The manager claims that I should have paid a tip because it was a large order placed “on the fly”. The order was 4 pizzas and a few extras, not that big, and I clearly followed the steps to place the order online within the time constraints the website was telling me. I would have even been okay if the order was finished a little late. After explaining why I was frustrated, the manager told me that I must have never worked in the food industry (even though I have) and that he would talk to his employee. He was very insincere and sounded like he just wanted to get me off the phone. There was no apology and he seemed to defend his employee's behavior. This was an incredibly rude experience. I struggle to understand why I was treated so poorly when I clearly paid the cost of the services. It wasn't delivered or served to me, so no tip.
