I stopped by the Lao Teng Thai Kitchen food truck and was blown away by the flavors. The Thainanese Chicken Rice was tender, flavorful, and paired with perfectly seasoned rice — simple yet so satisfying. The Khao Soi was the real standout: rich, creamy curry broth with just the right spice, soft noodles, and crispy toppings that made every bite special.

Just tried the new Lao Teng spot behind Madras Pub – wow! The Khao Man Gai (chicken rice) was amazing. 🐔🍚 Big, juicy pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked and tender. The sauce was rich, flavorful, and had just the right balance. Everything came together so well.

And with the jasmine green tea on the side – so fragrant and refreshing! 🌿🥤 Perfect combo. Highly recommend...

This review is based only on the food. Since it is a food truck, I will not comment on atmosphere/ambience, it’s a truck in a parking lot. The food reminded me of Chinese-style fast food (e.g. Panda Express). We ordered the crispy garlic chicken and the khao soi, and neither were to our satisfaction. I’ve lived in big cities with many Thai restaurants… this one does...
