Went here for my 1st time today. $18 for 3 tacos, guac & chips and a drink, and I’m still hungry and I wasn’t impressed. If this was a child’s meal for about $7, maybe that would be okay, but not for what I paid and received. The tacos are bare minimum, w/ maybe a teaspoon of meat and very little of everything else. They also use one tortilla shell, and each tortilla was broken and falling apart, but I guess when they don’t put much on the tortillas in the 1st place, one might expect it not to fall apart. I can’t even tell you how the meat tasted, there was much to be imagined.
Here’s my advise, go to a White Castle 🤮 and get 3 hamburgers, a small fry and a medium Coke for a fraction of the price of this place, and you’ll probably feel like you actually ate something. I won’t be back! Real Mexican restaurants have nothing to fear from this place. I give it a couple years at best and it...
Read moreCame in here on a lark with my partner after hearing the good was good and right off the top it was a GREAT experience! We came by in the evening and were greated by Nemo, a wonderful and super personable employee who took the time to explain the menu, the options amd personal recommendations when we explained this was our first time there. This was amazimg service, and really made it a wonderful experience.
That said the whole staff were wonderful, friendly and took the time to answer any questions we had. Everyone there was wonderful, not sure I've seen a friendlier staff!
The food was quite a bit different than I thought but exceeded my expectations. It's very fresh tasting, the steak is very tender and not a shred of cheese sauce to be seen. I had the steak nachos and 2 hsrd tacos and was so full I almost went into a food coma, very filling and great. Can't wait to go...
Read moreWe were in the neighborhood and saw this place, never heard of Guzman y Gomez before. Four weeks later we are back to give it a try. Our party of 4 had a steak taco, a steak quesadilla, a pulled brisket enchilada burrito, a steak burrito, and a carnitas burrito. The enchilada burrito was 75% white rice and beans - a bit of a disappointment. Next time I will definitely try the brown rice. The tacos are available in hard or soft corn tortillas or soft flour tortillas. The enchilada is only available in the flour tortillas and came with a tamitillo sauce; I prefer the red sauced enchiladas. The burrito bowl was excellent. This is a large quantity of food, next time I will go with a couple of tacos or Taco & quesadilla. I understand they have beer and margaritas but none of us are drinkers, but it looked good. The restaurant looks brand new and a bit corporate with all the...
