So I just started coming back recently to this restaurant because now it’s really close by to my job. So I would stop by for my lunch break so I would have plant of time eat and enjoy my meal (keep in mind I have 1 hour so it’s plenty of time) I came back for the first time in their new location and it was really nice. I ordered my food set up my table and got my food in under 15 minutes that was perfect. Now I go back the second time ordered my food and then waited 40 minutes so I only had 10 minutes to eat and go back to work it wasn’t enough time. Now today I had to wait 50 minutes for my food I order first and had like 8 people waiting behind me to order and they got all of their food first instead of me. I was pretty upset they gave me free dumplings but honestly it didn’t really make up for anything because I had to ask for a to go container to eat at work. I am really hesitant now to go back because I don’t want to risk wasting my time waiting for a long time. So overall my experience has been not so good especially now they increased there prices by a ton from the last time I went but obviously everywhere is expensive now a days. I won’t be coming...
Read moreI don’t usually write Google reviews which is probably why it has taken me so long to write this review - honestly it’s years overdue. My family and I have been coming here, going way back to when it was known as Joy Korea (iykyk) in Golf Mills, to the point where we became friendly with the owner and staff. I remember craving this place during college and having it as my first meal when visiting home. We appreciate the large portion sizes, and of course, the quality of the food is amazing and so consistent. I always always get the spicy pork (and end up stealing my family’s spicy chicken breast because it’s too good to pass up). We were so excited to hear they were getting their own place because we were worried about what would happen to our go-to place with Golf Mills getting demolished. The kindest and most warm people here with great service, we would highly recommend to everyone. (Sorry we didn’t have more pics, we usually end up inhaling our food as soon as it comes to our table lol.) Congrats to Joy Grill on this new location! From the 3 most loyal customers, the...

I've been here a couple times, now. Joy Korea is a fantastic restaurant with dishes made fresh to order. I tried the Japchai this visit, and it was great. Flavorful, hot, fresh, not over-salted, and more than enough for two full meals. The glass noodles were great, chicken had a wonderful flavor, and many vegetables to make a balanced, hearty meal.
The service is also very friendly. The woman who takes the orders has limited English, but is still eager to share their menu items and make sure you get what you will enjoy.
If this were a sit down restaurant, I would be sure to come in for an enjoyable meal. As it is, you get to eat in the food court with people eating more generic, pre-made fare at the next table, or better yet, take it as carry out after a day of shopping, to...
