Panino's Pizzeria - Park Ridge — Restaurant in Maine Township

It was my first time visiting this place and let me tell you all, I am really amazed and impressed! Panino’s Pizzeria is a really great place to go if you really love pizza! Their pizza is incredibly delicious, really unique, and high-quality. It is so tasty, meaty, cheesy, saucy, and the texture of it is really mind-blowing. Just by looking at their menu, your mouth will absolutely water. You can really tell that their food is really great and delicious even in pictures and on the menu. All of the food they served is really fresh, new, and made to perfection. Such a really great place for you and your friends to hang out, bring your family and spend some quality time, or even just to treat and enjoy the food by yourself. This place has a good environment, its interior has a great ambiance, and the whole place is really interesting. Panino’s Pizzeria is a very welcoming place and so relaxing as well. Their staff here is really friendly, kind, attentive, polite, and accommodating. They will talk to you properly and professionally. They will help and assist you all the time you need something from their kitchen. All of the staff is doing their job so right and also doing their best to satisfy the customers. Really personable and reliable staff. They really made my experience much better. I am really impressed! I really love their service! Tried Paninos on a whim because I discovered they had a gluten free menu and I have been craving a good pizza for years. Ordered a regular pan pepperoni pizza for my family as well and they loved it. Even my picky, never likes anything teen, inhaled his slices of pizza and actually said it was good! He won’t even compliment my cooking so that took us all by surprise! Now the gluten free… I tried the breadsticks and a Sicilian style mushroom and Canadian bacon pizza. The breadsticks were fantastic! I couldn’t even tell they were GF. Their dough is soft a fluffy. Sauce is perfectly sweet, and cheese is (well it’s cheese…no matter what cheese is heaven). The only con in my review is my GF Pizza was a little over baked, borderline burnt. But it’s GF and I know sometimes it burns because it cooks faster, but I’m not complaining. It was still fantastic, dough was delicious and it definitely hit the spot! I’ll have to remember next time I order to just ask if they can cook it less. Now dessert… haven’t had it yet but I am anticipating eating my flourless chocolate cake! Best part of this experience was the price. After giving up on other places because of their over priced cardboard tasting pizzas this was a nice surprise to find a reasonably priced place where I don’t feel punished for being Gluten free…

Got to the restaurant soon after they opened for the evening, which was the right call. It got filled up fast for good reason. It's a very small restaurant, but they had some of the best pizza I've ever had. On the wall, they showcase their numerous first place wins in various competitions. All of that is deserved.

We had the Spanish Octopus and Artichoke Heart appetizers and both were phenomenal. The octopus was cooked to perfection. Completely tender with no tough or chewy parts, even at the tip. All of the flavors worked together so well. The artichoke hearts were plump, full of flavor, and the buttered bread crumbs lent it a good crunch to contrast with the soft vegetable.

We ordered the deep dish pizza with a few toppings. The cheese was wonderfully stretchy, and the tomato sauce packed such a powerful punch of flavor. Concentrated acidity and tomato flavor with a good blend of herbs and spices.

Lastly, I ordered a cannoli for dessert. I was blown away. The shell was crisp, and the filling was light, sweet, and creamy. I'm used to denser cannoli so it was a wonderful surprise. Everything was delicious, the waitresses were attentive and helpful, and I had an incredible time.
