I go to this chipotle almost everyday and in the last month it has gotten substantially worse, you could show up and there could be five people in front of you and it could take upwards of thirty minutes, on top of that this place is clearly well understaffed and honestly the employees working there are also all new so it looks like there’s a lot of manager issues on this branch, on top of that there’s also a chance that you could wait ten minutes for somebody just to come to the register so you can actually pay for your food, collectively I have exhausted at least 5-15 minutes everytime I go at the counter waiting for someone to come serve me and they never come and I’m sitting there waddling like a duck and eventually it gets so built up there’s a literal swarm in front of the food. Who ever the manager of this branch is and whoever are in charge of staff need to be fired immediately because this is the only chipotle I have seen people get out of line because it just takes too long, but this isn’t the only issue like I said earlier that this staff is new I mean every single one has come on in the last month or two, management put no veteran staff in any of those lineups and I believe it’s because management literally got everybody to leave on overworked hours or they’re just not getting paid enough. The food though is good but there’s a chance you’re gonna get additional protein in the form of tendons and then you can get uncut vegetables also put in your burrito. Overall quality of this place has dropped 80 percent and it’s clearly because the manager has no clue what they’re doing and it’s...
Read moreI normally don't write poor reviews however, this restaurant has forced my hand. Three of the employees were attending to two customers who had ordered two bowls. When it was time to service me, all of them fussed over going on their "breaks" at that time, leaving the guy to serve me (I should've walked out then). I gave my order which was a steak salad with cauliflower rice. I asked for the juice from the beans and salsa to be drained off before they add it to my food, I was ignored. I wound up ordering a salad, chips and gauc, and a large drink. After my food was being rung up, The cashier pushes my food toward me and walks away to serve another customer who was ahead of me and get his drink without saying anything to me and with my food without a bag. I asked if there were no more bags. She comes back over and places a bag on the counter on the counter and walks. She never asked me about what drink I wanted (as the employees have to prepare the drinks), she just left to serve this other guy and didn't say anything farther to me. I hate that I was treated this as if I was bothering them or unwanted in...
Read moreI've been eating Chipotle since around 2005. I eat at my local Long Beach location a couple times a month. While we were doing some shopping, I needed to use the restroom. I gravitated to this Chipotle because I felt comfortable there and they usually keep the restrooms clean. When I went to ask the girl working the register if I can use the restroom, she said yes but said I must buy something first and the code will be on the receipt. The idea of buying something at a corporate restaurant that I've been a customer of for a very long time was offencive to me. Using a restroom should not be something that we should have to pay for. In fact it should be a fundamental basic human right that anyone should have. To top it all off I happen to have the flu and I'm sick. Out of desperation I bought a small drink, didn't even take the cup, and used the restroom. Because of this experience I will never set foot in another Chipotle again. Now instead of being an advocate of their food, I will let everyone know about the lack of empathy and inhumane way that they treat their...
