June Deli — Restaurant in Mammoth Lakes

I needed a sandwich for lunch to be enjoyed on the trail later in the day. First choice was to visit the new deli. It was a holiday weekend, so I wasn't surprised to see a line. Service was friendly. I made my selection of roast beef and was given a number. It didn't take too long before my sandwich and salad were ready. Once to our lunch spot overlooking a crater not far away, I was ready to eat. I was blown away at how amazing the sandwich tasted. I expected ordinary but receive exceptional flavor. The salad that was included was fresh and well-portioned. Though I would prefer to have a sandwich only option, I was more than satisfied with the food and overall experience...

The good - they have gluten free bread. The cashier was very polite and the portion size was good. The food was made fresh and served quickly.

The not so good - Two sandwiches were ordered. One was missing the chipotle as advertised. The second was ordered as a panini and came out as a cold sandwich. One orders side salad was missing the salad dressing. We were too far away by the time we realized the errors to go back for corrections.
