Love this place. I go here all the time and the service and food is always great. Whenever I order takeout too they never get my order wrong..the ramen here Is the best

Update..... -2 stars... I took off one star because I've noticed literally everytime it's busy in there, they mess up the orders so much and the service goes out the door. Tonight, I went there as a special date with my boyfriend. We go there all the time and ordered our usual: to start: fried gyoza, then for our meals: tantanmen ramen & spicy miso. We had to wait almost 15 minutes just for a glass of water. - much less our order to be taken. Once it was, it was another solid 30ish minutes for it to come out. The gyoza was tasty, as usual, but I had no utensils still so I had to ask for those. Not a huge deal...but I feel bad bothering a waitress on a busy night. For the ramen I had asked for extra scallions ; there were about 5 floating around in my bowl, the egg wasn't as good as usual - undercooked, and my bok choy was missing. I didn't want to make a big fuss out of it but as a paying patron I wanted to get what I ordered so I had to call the waitress back since it didn't look like she was returning back to our table anytime soon.q I asked for bok choy and was informed they had run out... I wasn't told that before I ordered. So I proceeded to ask for extra scallions instead. They then told me they had run out of those. I was visably dissapointed since I love vegetables in my ramen, so they offered to give me extra meat on the side. I ordered the pork ramen, so I was expecting another side of pork to throw in. Anyway, they gave me this soy glazed ground up ....chicken?? I think? I tried one bite and hated it so I gave it to my boyfriend who also hated it. If I knew it would be a disaster, I would have just ordered pho or went a different night. I wish I was informed that half of the ingredients were missing before I ordered it.

Unfortunately, I really like this place when it's a quiet night. The service is usually very good and sweet ladies who work there. But when it's busy, they seem to forget all about you, and the service is incredibly slow. I'd only recommend this place on a...

Update: Reducing to 1 star after bartender was disrespectful and unprofessional. Besides eating snacks while making drinks, she stood on the side by the silverware and played on her phone. She also alternated between touching dirty dishes, cash and the garnishes with her fingers (without rewatching hands). We already finished our appetizers before we got our first round of drinks. My partner’s drink was brought over but she half made mine and then forgot it at the bar. She started arguing with the waiter when he asked where my drink was and then she realized she forgot it. Later we asked for a second drink and she just stood around in her phone. When the waiter reminded her, she loudly declared to him that she was going to walk over and apologize to us but chose not to do so because it “had only been 5 minutes and they’re a business so we need to just wait”. It’s not like they were busy- she was on her phone. But to say something like that within earshot was unprofessional. She was all over the place and our waiter had to remind her 1-2x for each drink at every table. The waiter was awesome but the bartender not so much. I would’ve just sent this in an email but I couldn’t find it on the website.

Original review: Amazing food and service! Last time I was there, I ordered the pork belly bao and when it came to the table, it was a solid piece of fat without any meat. I asked the waiter, Angie, about it and they provided a replacement. The replacement was also 100% fat (it was an error in the food prep) so I asked again. Angie was amazing- they comped the bao off our bill AND gave us the fried chicken bao to try instead. The fried chicken bao was amazing! The service was outstanding; to give two replacements, then see it’s not cut right, and then to provide a different replacement at no charge. So awesome.

The Bao was super soft buns with amazingly tasty pulled pork. They have these specialty fries that are covered with various toppings that just erupt in flavor.

There was a slight mixup in my order but I wasn't paying attention. When they came to my table they accidently gave me the spicy pork ramen bowl instead of my spicy beef and noodle special. But I was honesty not paying too much attention and the ramen looked so good I immediately dug in!

By the time they and I had realized the mistake, I had taken a few bites and didn't want such a tasty dish to get tossed. I asked to keep it and and they were very accommodating!

As my spicy beef and noodle daily special came out, I knew I had made a good choice. The beef has a special, bold marinade and sauce that was Capital S Savory and the noodles were a pleasantly spicy blend.

Throughout my time there the staff were all pleasant, attentive, and understanding. I'm afraid I didn't get their names as it slipped my mind, but they were all fantastic!

I wrote this with a full, happy belly.

It is not cheap, but the servings are generous for the price, I definitely ordered more than I should have, and regret none of it.
