First and foremost, the pizza here is very good. I’ve ordered both pickup and delivery several times over the last couple of years and they’re consistently solid.

Beware if you want any extra toppings, because boy, oh boy, did that cause a headache the last time I ordered. When I say extra, I mean to say “extra pepperoni”, or “extra mushrooms” for instance.

In the past, I’ve actually been okay asking for this and of course been happy to pay for additional fees. No problem at all. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case during our last order. Holy nightmare manager, Batman.

They were busy. I understand that. The very kind, young man who took the order initially tried his best to accommodate, but something went wrong with the system. He said he needed to get the manager for help and I told him of course, no worries at all. I felt for him. You could tell he was overwhelmed.

The manager (at least the one on duty that day), was…not very kind, to put it mildly. He was very agitated, and hey, I’ve worked in customer service. I get it. I explained what had happened and what we wanted to order. He was extremely, extremely curt with me.

At one point, I actually started to feel guilty for even placing my order for the pizza to begin with. As if I were doing something wrong by asking for extra pepperoni and mushrooms.

The manager even lectured me, instructing me “how to properly order a pizza”. He scoffed at me over and over again. I was so caught off guard that I just stammered and said “Okay, I’m sorry”.

Nearly $50 later, the order was placed, and eventually, we got all our food. Wound up not even bothering with the extra toppings because I didn’t want to ask the manager for it again after he came down on me. It was all so awkward. So we just had the basics, and hey, credit where it’s due, the food was (as usual) very good.

But I wont be ordering from there again. That last experience really left a poor taste in my mouth and listen, I had bad days when I worked on that side of the counter, so I understand how rough that can be. But I didn’t do anything wrong here. It’s incredibly unprofessional to speak to a customer that way.

I wasn’t unkind, I apologized profusely for the headache (multiple times as well), which honestly, I had nothing to apologize for. They should have a simple way to add extra toppings. But just the way the manager spoke with me - I’m not comfortable calling there again.

Maybe it was just an off night. Maybe an anomaly. I’m not sure, but that’s all it takes, right?

There’s another pizza place not even 5 minutes from my house. That’s my spot from now on. They’re wonderful, don’t yell at me, have better pizza, and are cheaper. Only reason I didn’t order from them that day is because they were closed.

Farewell, Alley Cat. As a lover of kitties and good pizza, I...

Ok so lets start with why the 3 star with the food aka my pizza! This was my third time back in the past year for starters. What I did like was the service, they were friendly, place was clean, obviously not the neighborhood but the actual inside of the business! What was consistent, well the crust was great, well cooked asked for well done as many of the reviews suggested. All three times in the past year the pie crust was good tasteful and cooked well with good flavor. Toppings were definitely scarce for a $25 dollar 16 inch pizza. And they must use bacon crumble instead of actual bacon for a topping because I wasnt able to taste a single bacon in 4 full slices. The sauce, very very scarce as well. It had ok flavor but I could only taste the sauce flavor in maybe two of 3 of the bites out of the 4 full slices I had! Cheese was also ok flavor but very scarce again for a large 16 inch $25. Dollar pizza! My previous two pies were identical with the same great crust, but really lacking on toppings, cheese and the sauce! Overall just not what I have experienced years back from this place! For me they always had the best sauce great cheese and plenty of toppings. Perhaps since Covid, and with the rise in inflation they chose to sacrifice what once made them great, for we just need to keep the doors open. Or perhaps they changed there sauce recipe, and cheese blend to compensate for rising food costs. Nonetheless and in my opinion and based on a 1 to 10 scale I would give my last three pizzas a 5. When at one point in time this place had always produced consistent 8 or 9s! If I could give them one bit of advice it would be to get your old sauce recipe back, add the proper amount of cheese for a 16" pie and stop being scarce with toppings! People will pay for great pie and being consistent is key! If increasing your prices a dollar a pie, or two dollars a pie is needed to get back that great pie you once always produced, then damn it do it! You guys were a staple to this city with pies lets try and...

If you’ve been searching for an authentic New York-style pizza experience, Alley Cat Pizzeria is the place to be. This local gem serves up slices that are as close to the real deal as you’ll find outside the five boroughs—thin, foldable, and packed with flavor. From the first bite, you get that perfect balance of tangy tomato sauce, gooey melted cheese, and a crisp-yet-chewy crust. The dough is expertly crafted, giving it the signature New York-style texture: sturdy enough to hold its toppings but still soft enough to fold. The slight char on the crust adds just the right touch of smokiness, making each bite even more satisfying.

Beyond the pizza, Alley Cat Pizzeria nails the true NYC pizzeria atmosphere—no frills, just great food served up fast and fresh. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the vibe makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a classic neighborhood pizza joint. While their cheese and pepperoni slices are a must, they also offer an impressive selection of specialty pies. Whether you're craving a classic Margherita, a loaded meat lover’s pizza, or a veggie-packed option, there’s something for everyone.

For anyone missing that authentic NYC slice, Alley Cat Pizzeria delivers in every way. Whether you're grabbing a quick slice or sharing a whole pie, this is hands-down one of the best pizza...

My band had been searching for food to nourish us after being left with 3 closed Chipotles, and 1 Wendy’s that had either closed early for the holiday weekend or just had the wrong time posting on Google. We had just come from a bluegrass festival where fried food was our only option, and we knew we couldn’t have another fried clam or fire dog. After searching for hours and nearly giving up all hope…we found Alley Cat Pizza. We got the Fancy Cat and one bandmate got the chef salad. Neither were anything to write home about but folks, when you’ve been left in such a deep, dark pit of hunger the Alley Cat was a beacon of light. Every person working there was a work of art. We highly recommend you try the Alley Cat even if you are not in such a dire situation as we were. They will certainly have our business again if we ever need to make a stop in ManchVegas. 10 out of 10. 🤌

The pizza is average at best. Not terrible, but something like you would get in any typical cafeteria in America. They really skimp on the toppings, probably because the pizza is so cheap. I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and there was very little chicken on it, and I couldn't taste any buffalo sauce or blue cheese even though they told me it was on there (looked and tasted like a plain cheese pizza to me). The lady at the counter was very rude to an older gentleman who came inside without a mask (probably he forgot). I just think there are better ways to communicate your restaurant's policies to patrons other than being abrasive and nasty. On the plus side, the restaurant's name and logo is pretty cool. I like how they have all their pizzas named after cats!

So surprisingly enough I live on the North end of Manchester and I've never actually eaten here! Today was the first time of me going there to grab the sub and I have to say it was literally amazing!! I needed less than 10 minutes for my sub and the stuff was absolutely amazing but specifically I would like to compliment the fresh veggies!! LOL I've never had such crisp pickles lettuce or any other veggies that was actually on my sub from a pizza place before literally amazing!!! I wish I had actually taken pictures of the restaurant itself but I actually only had it taking a selfie there really quick so I'm just going to add myself it was a very cute little quaint pizza place!!! Also very clean!!
