I visited Nana’s Halal Fusion Kitchen at 180 Spruce St in Manchester, CT, for dinner and had a great experience overall. The staff are always friendly and efficient, and my food came out promptly—even though it was fairly busy.
I often order Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches and the Chicken Over Rice platter and added some lamb to try their combo option. The portion was very generous: a big bed of basmati rice, fresh salad on the side, and two meats that were well-seasoned and juicy. The sauces (especially the white sauce) were a nice touch and complemented the dish perfectly. The rice had a good aromatic flavor and didn’t feel like an afterthought.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The owners and employees are super friendly—they make you feel welcome the moment you walk in and genuinely care about their customers’ experience. It’s refreshing to see that kind of hospitality.
The ambience is casual and comfortable—great for take-out or a relaxed dine-in. The decor is simple but modern, and the location is convenient with parking nearby.
Overall, Nana’s Halal Fusion Kitchen delivers delicious food, generous portions, and some of the friendliest service around. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for flavorful, halal-friendly meals...

I was told that everything is the same on the menu and I had hoped at least a change of flavor or quality. But the quality went down instead, I could easily tell that they used older oil, lack of seasoning. My friend who order a wrap barely had any protein in it and had an expired drink. The individual at the counter was very nice and great so that’s one positive. The style of the inside is still bland, just because a you repainted a wall doesn’t mean a new style. I’m just...
Read moreI saw the new sign and decided to go in after not going to the predecessor restaurant for months. Unfortunately, the food is the exact same as the predecessor restaurant - the menu hasn’t changed. I got a bbq chicken wrap. The chicken was clearly cooked in old oil and so were the fries. The soda was also expired which I realized and checked when the taste was off. I felt sick after the meal, and so did my friend. Food isn’t supposed to make you feel like this. On the flip side, the service was excellent. The guy at the front counter is very personable and patient. The food quality just needs...
