I am trying to work my way through all of the breakfast places in Manchester, and this was my first time at Penny's. Although it's small inside, they had space and we didn't have to wait. They give menus for you to look over when they are cleaning your table for you before you sit down. One customer wasn't sure if she could eat there because she has a gluten allergy, and the staff gave about 6 or 7 different gluten free products that she could choose from for breakfast and lunch. First off, the coffee is very good. It's my favorite of any of the coffee from the breakfast places on Main street, which for me is half of the joy of going out to breakfast. I got the pulled pork breakfast sandwich with home fries, and my friend got the croissant, bacon and gruyere breakfast casserole. The pulled pork sandwich was great, and the casserole looks so unassuming but is AMAZING. I need to come back to try the other casseroles. I took a cranberry cake and a marshmallow chocolate poke cake to go, and they were amazing also. You can tell everything is homemade and they put a lot of attention to detail into their food and their service.

Very cute cafe with colorful platters and cups, high cost for breakfast, very friendly and efficient service, food has great presentation, but blah tasting and prepared food. I loved the decor and atmosphere and the service was so good!!! The server and the cashier were very pleasant and checked on us several times. They were nice and accommodating to all their patrons. But the food wasn’t great! The panini was just fine. The waffle fries and sweet potato fries were perfection but everything else was tasteless. The chicken in the chicken and Waffles was under-seasoned and overcooked. The waffles were soggy. The peaches and cream were unexpected and undesirable. $70 for breakfast for three people is crazy. Hot chocolate for $9 is way too much. Not even Starbucks cost that much! While I loved the colorful cups, I don’t like drinking from plastic as they hold odor and are bad for our health and the environment. I’d prefer glass mugs for beverages.

I stopped in for Lunch and was immediately impressed with the ultra cuteness, decor, and desserts displayed. I could taste the freshness with my first steps in the door. I was greeted by an enthusiastic server who made me feel right at home. I ordered the Honey Bar-B-Q chicken wrap in a tomato basil wrap, waffle fries, and coleslaw. The wrap was fresh, tasty, and huge, great value. I thought I was just trying the waffle fries, but the serving size, again, overly generous. For dessert, double chocolate raspberry cake with almonds, and 2 glasses of milk,, outstanding.. Situated on a quiet corner on main Street. Catch a rising star and stop in for breakfast or lunch at Penny's Place, their menu is very unique. Check out their casserole menu, I'll definitely be back!!

My friend and I went to Manchester to get some breakfast. So we parked our car. We came across the 1st breakfast place named: "Central Perk". It was so ridiculously crowded. Which is a good thing to see; But, It was very awkward trying to wait... There is no foyer. It was an awkward scenario. Here, we are standing and made to overlook the other patrons enjoying their meal and laughing and asking for a 2nd cup of coffee. It is like we were breathing down their necks... Very Strange! It is dark in there. We said: "Let's get out outta here" So off we go strolling down Main street to find another breakfast place. We walked a 1/2 mile down to "Angry Egg" to only find out that it was closed. Grrr... We were Disappointed 😞 to say the least. Now we do a 180° turn to walk back up Main Street to toward our car. We were hungry and NEEDED COFFEE...☕️ ☕️ ❤️ 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 NOW THIS IS WHERE WE FOUND THE "GOLDEN NUGGET" BREAKFAST PLACE ON MAIN STREET!!! We looked to our right and see a NEW BREAKFAST PLACE Named: "PENNY'S PLACE" ... It is bright and cheerful and clean! The walls are 🎨 painted yellow. A very appealing atmosphere!!! 😃 😊 There is enough room and space to allow you to find your seat comfortably. We were welcomed cheerfully by the staff! The Waitress approached us and said: "GOOD MORNING, sit where you would like. Would you like me to get you some ... COFFEE ☕️ ☕️??? We replied in unison..."YES PLEASE" They have only been open since June 2022. The menu doesn't have many choices. But, If I can recall, I think in the middle of the menu it offers a feature: "Open Plate" ? (not sure if it is right name) Anyways, This allows you to order your breakfast the way you want.(Nice feature) We ordered our breakfast. It was Hot and fresh and Soooo 😋 YUMMY!!! JUST 🥰 PERFECT! We finished our meal and paid. Then we were greeted by the owner. She made our breakfast! Our compliments ☺️ to the cook. She told us a new menu is in the works. More choices will be available soon. It was nice to know that they strive to get their produce fresh everyday As well as other supplies. PLEASE CHECK THIS PLACE OUT... MAKE IT YOUR NEW BREAKFAST PLACE ON MAIN STREET!!! 😋 😉 👌 You will not be disappointed. In addition, they also serve lunch as well. As a side point ... A man approached us and said: "I left that other place for the same reason you did. It was awkward waiting like that. Weird-😵‍💫 So I walked down Main Street and found this place too." We all agreed we made right choice!!! The prices were resonable!!! $$ We will definitely come again very...

If I could leave no stars I would . The owner is completely disrespectful and unreasonable. My husband's "jalapeno popper chicken sandwich" had 1 slice of lunch meat style chicken on it . One piece. And when he asked if that was a normal amount of chicken the waitress was rude and mocked him saying "most people don't want a lot of chicken". When he pulled the single shred of limp chicken off the bread to show it was literally one tiny piece (that they wanted $17 for btw and was grilled on what looked like wonder bread) she was rude and condescending again. Her attitude was what ruined his appetite , so he said he didn't want the sandwich remade or to order another menu item . But I was going to share mine with him and we weren't trying to make a scene. We both work in the restaurant industry and honestly don't even like to complain but what happened next actually blew my mind. The chef and owner came charging up to our table rudely demanding that we still pay for the sandwich he literally had one bite of . She was rude and aggressive and told him he was the problem. Said "no one ever sends her food back" which is asinine everyone knows that this happens and honestly we weren't trying to make a big deal out of it . Never in my life have i been met with this level of disrespect in a place of business. The food was trash and the service was not only abysmal but...

I came by today because I was craving pancakes. Maybe this wasn't the establishment for that since I was told they are known for their casseroles when I arrived by the cheery server. They had some really creative looking ones, but I didn't come there for that. The service was friendly, excellent, and attentive.

The server was quick to take my order and even quicker to bring the food out. I never experienced such fast turn around before. It was as if the people in back had a head start on my order, and that's what I suspect happened since I received the saddest pancakes I've ever had in my life. The butter packet that I was given didn't even melt on it. They were nowhere near as hot as most fresh pancakes I was used to. It was like they were premade and waiting, or they were frozen and made in a microwave. They had a stale quality to them, they just were missing something. Could it be love? Anyways the eggs were hot, but were slightly undercooked as if made with haste, but the bacon I must say was perfectly done, so it wasn't a complete disappointment, but maybe they should take Pancakes off the menu if this is how they normally are. I won't say don't go here, but don't get the pancakes.

I looked at their baked goods and honestly their muffins looked like something I would enjoy. I wish I had gotten one of...
