This dinner was a snowball of issues. Let me first start off by saying I represent our family of 4. I have a pair of twin 2 year old daughters. We arrived and we were promptly seated with balloons in hand. (Red Robin gives balloons to children). We sat and waited an average time for the waiter. We ordered our meals. The kids got juice and my wife and I got drinks. When the waitress came back she dropped off the drinks and failed to give straws for their plastic cups and dropped off napkins (this is key). Now as a parent I am stuck with a hard decision. Do I let my two year old drink it from an open cup? I tried to flag down a waitress or even our waitress, nothing. I take the lid off the cups and let the girls drink supervised. Then it was time to fight, with my 2 year old, to put the lid back on and that ended up with juice all over the table. I used the majority of the napkins to clean up the mess. She brought a towel out and cleaned up most of the mess. There was still a spot that was left and we used the remainder of the napkins on the last spot. Now we received the food and no new napkins. Tried to flag down the waitress for more napkins, still no luck. My family had to use dirty pineapple juice napkins to clean the grease off our hands. I have no problem with the grease because that is a sign of a good burger, but dirty napkins are not okay. This was a snowball effect starting with not getting straws to having to use wet napkins to...
Read moreWaitress was very nice and engaging with my kids. We came for my oldests birthday. The only complaint I can honestly have is no so much the experience in this restaurant or its waitstaff, but its food. My family and I arrived around 6 and waited 30 or so minutes to be seated. Nobody minded it was to be expected on a Sunday for us. We were having fun time was flying by and almost 40 minutes after being seated and placing our orders we finally got our food. Kids getting a little antsy I was relieved to see the food had arrived only to see all of the burgers buns "five burgers" were all dry and 3 of them were just hard and crunchy. The other 2 looked like one side was just smooshed making it difficult to hold and try to eat the burgers. I am disappointed because we went out for my sons birthday only to wait 40 minutes for this. I have never really had a bad experience here and I understand people have bad days. I cant even complain about consistency because all 5 burgers were consistently made bad if you can find humor in that. In the end after all this like I have said I never really had an issue here but i would reccomend not going in larger group otherwise you will most likely be disappointed in the quality by the time the food gets to you. We were a group of 7. I would Highly reccomend not going with a group larger than 4 or so. I will not be doing birthday dinners here anymore unless it's just my wife and the kids from now on just for the sake of the...
Read moreGiving them one star, if I could I would have given them no star. Let’s put it this way I will never give Red Robin’s my money ever again. Today 5/8/19, I decided to go to Red Robin’s for dinner. We entered and ask the host for a booth. She shook her head yes, but than tried to sit us down in the half table booth style seating I said no can we sit at a booth. I ask for booth because I have a bad back. The host said okay i sat down and she flung the menu at me. She then walked away mumbling something under her breath. I walked towards the bathroom and i observed the host talking with the waitresses when she saw me they said nothing. I waited for 15 minutes. The waitress never came to greet us, ask for drink orders. I finally got tired and asked to speak to the manager. He was working the tables. I told them about not being served despite of the people who sat after us were already being served. He offered to wait on us after he walked away to talk with the waitress. I decided not to stay as at that point I was angry and did not want to anyone spitting on our food. I will be calling corporate, store manager tomorrow. Honestly, I never gave them any reason to treat us like that. Not once have I felt bad like today in a restaurant. They refused to serve me, hate to throw the race card but I wonder would they have treated me differently if I was white. I seriously question if my ethnicity played a role in today’s incident. The...
