This is my favorite food in Manchester (I am local and have tried it all). The palate that is dictating the menu, knows what he/she is doing. Everything is delicious. The lunchbox with Peruvian chicken is the move. Along with your protein choice, you get rice and beans, chicken, arugula with pickled veg, a skug hardboiled egg, and a side salad with avocado, crispy chickpeas, curry dressing and pickled red onion (it's beautiful), and a dipping sauce that is ranch adjacent...and all of those things are clearly made from scratch and delicious. The salads are also very good. But perhaps the rock star item in my opinion is the Matzo Ball soup. It is a real, clear, and tasty stock finished with fresh dill, chicken and a big Matzo Ball. The French fries are also hand cut and you can taste it. My only note is that for the quality of the food, the plates and silverware feel very much like a lunchroom cafeteria. For the price of the food, which is fair because it's high quality, I'd like what it is served on to feel a little more solid. I cringe every time I use the silverware there. Lastly, they have managed to find the most upbeat, kind, and happy staff, which seems far and few between these days....

If you're looking for a local, affordable, and delicious dining experience in Manchester, Vermont, look no further than this hidden gem of a restaurant. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels simultaneously modern and cozy.

But what really sets this place apart is the food. I had the pleasure of trying the pork sandwich with brussel sprout slaw, and it was truly a meal to die for. The sandwich was juicy and flavorful, and the slaw added the perfect crunch and tanginess to each bite. I also had the pleasure to sample the fried chicken (3x in a week), which was so crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the hand-cut fries, which were addictive.

But beyond the food itself, what made this dining experience special was the staff. They were all so friendly, and we got to talk to the chef himself. It is a true family/friend team running this place, and you could tell that they were genuinely proud of the food they were making.

Stop in - This is...

To say this burger changed my life is an understatement. I've never had anything quite like it despite how simple it seems. I was torn between the Lunchbox (a daily menu item) or the special. At the recommending of the staff, I went with the Special (The Frita Burger- a chorizo patty, a beef patty, shoestring potatoes and a creamy Cuban style sauce). The food, combined with the in house music (Comfortably Numb), was maybe the closest I've ever been to culinary nirvana. Juicy and full of combined flavors I've never had before together. Lets not pass over the fact that the GIANT thing of fries in the picture there weren't just light, fluffy, and made to be topped with anything and nibbled, but was FIVE. DOLLARS. Thats a better deal than any fast food joint. I savored every bite and will be back to try their daily menu. But if you ever felt inclined to try a special- this is your sign. Take the chance. It could...

Was just looking for a place to park and out of pure luck pulled in in front of this little establishment. Burgers are super tasty and tender, generous portions of delicious fries, selection of local beers or soda. Seating area on a patio where you don't have to smell car fumes. Service was excellent for made to order food. If it wasn't an hour and a half from my home I would go there regularly. Search it out. It's worth it.
