If you’re at all a sushi lover coming here is a must! Not only was the food incredible but the service was beyond amazing; you couldn’t possibly be disappointed coming here! I came here on a whim with a craving and at first I was blown away by the thick cuts of the sashimi but then I tasted them and was in love with the quality of the fish! We tried a few different rolls and got seconds of our favorites (which was very hard to choose seeing as how they were all so good) and it’s safe to say we will definitely be back soon. And I just wanted to thank the Liu’s who were kind and welcoming and made our dinner the best experience we could’ve hoped for!!

Sushi Boat has less salmon in a roll than a vegan restaurant. For over $10 per salmon avocado roll I expected significantly more substance, quality and customer service. When we approached the cashier about the clear lack of fish in our takeout she refused to acknowledge or rectify the situation. Will be sticking to grocery store sushi (which honestly tastes better) going forward!

I really wanted to like it but it’s mediocre. If you want sushi, there’s no other choice but...the miso soup tasted like water. The spider roll tasted like fried tempura without the crab. However, the basic rolls like spicy tuna, or anything with avocado on it was good.

If you’re looking for the best sushi in Manchester, Vermont, this is the place! The quality of the fish is outstanding — always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The rolls are creative yet authentic, and the sashimi melts in your mouth. It’s clear this Japanese restaurant in Manchester VT takes pride in every detail, from perfectly seasoned rice to stunning presentation.

The service is just as impressive. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and quick to offer great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, making it perfect for date nights, family dinners, or even a casual lunch stop after exploring downtown Manchester.

Standout favorites include the chef’s special rolls, the miso soup, and the sashimi platter — all must-try items. Prices are very fair for the quality and portions you get, and it’s an easy location to find right in the heart of town.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting southern Vermont, don’t miss this gem. This truly is the top sushi restaurant in Manchester Vermont and one I’ll return to...

I can honestly say this is the top sushi restaurant in Manchester, VT! Every dish tastes incredibly fresh, and the menu offers a great mix of classic rolls and unique chef creations. The quality rivals what you’d find in big cities, but with the charm and warmth of a Manchester Vermont restaurant.

The sushi rice is spot-on, the fish is perfectly cut, and the flavors are well balanced. I especially recommend the specialty rolls and the nigiri — each bite was delicious. The presentation is beautiful too, making every plate feel special.

The staff here is wonderful — friendly, attentive, and eager to make your dining experience great. The restaurant itself has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for everything from a casual lunch to a night out with friends.

If you’re visiting southern Vermont or looking for a new favorite local spot, this is the best Japanese restaurant in Manchester Vermont. The quality, service, and atmosphere can’t be beat....

honestly no, as someone who adores sushi this was not it. over priced and tasted so bad. the women microwaved our shrimp tempura right in front of our face. i’m from new york city so my expectations might be a higher standard but this was just disgusting. i’ve never eaten sushi while listening to country music. there wasn’t a bathroom. the rainbow roll was an unnecessary 22 dollars. it’s a mom & pop which i get but with that being said i dont believe it should be that expensive (coming from a new yorker where everything is expensive) id understand if it was amazing sushi for that price but it wasn’t. again it was microwaved number two their was no taste other then burnt. the fact that we were so dissatisfied we had to go out to dinner again because it was that...
