Everything I’ve Read or that’s kept me away from this location and this establishment ever has been all Wrong Given by what I can tell You my FIRST TIME EVER At a P.F. Chang’s was like tonight, From the moment we arrived Ahmeen was super friendly at the door, And Genuinely cared about greeting us with the warmest welcome, I sincerely hope the management applauds Ahmeen for a job very well done!!!! Our server, Cole was every bit as spectacular as we ever could’ve hoped, in fact He was so good I couldn’t ever imagine coming Here and not asking for him to guarantee a stellar all-star experience, In fact, if from the front of the house, At the front door With a greeter like we had tonight who was the very first face and personality we’ll have ever encountered of What this restaurant is like, then they can be very proud between the culture of kindness and inclusion Ahmeen and Cole offered, In fact, For hospitality management and server or Host Training I would Fast track both of their careers and give them every opportunity for promotion they deserve, I am a very well known award winning chef in the area, My Husband is a highly respected Anesthesia Chief, We know A LOT of people in the area and would recommend this establishment to any of them any time if they’re looking for a good meal out, But truly, the service and the food couldn’t have been better, I read that hospitality at this location could be hit or miss but We made sure we met everyone there tonight including the manager who was super kind, and Thanked us for coming, In fact, Our server Cole, had the most genuinely interested invested care in our overall experience that He could’ve just sat back and let the house run itself with spectacular performers like the ones we had tonight, I would seriously love to see the regional managers or even corporate do something special for Cole and Ahmeen because they completely had every opportunity to live up to the expectations set by many of these reviews which was a very low bar and a lot of disappointments from what I’ve read and they Far exceeded every expectation we had Because they were the exact opposite, they were unbelievable, Cole was truly by far one of the single best servers we’ve ever had and I’ve had my food and recipes literally served across the globe at some of the best places imaginable including To celebrities, and I can tell you these two that we had tonight, Were so unbelievably caring about our guest experience Cole knew every answer to every question, Our drinks never sat empty a minute, we wanted for absolutely nothing He made sure that the two of us had the most perfect five star experience and that’s why I’m so happy to give him five stars in return because Cole really is the best of the best of the best...
Read moreI am not sure what to make of this place. I came in at 5:40 on a Sunday. We sat at the bar. I think the bartender must have been restocking or in a preshift meeting, because at least 2 other couples and a single showed up before he got out to the bar. No big deal. He was awesome, by himself, making drinks and pouring beer for ALL the tables that started showing up. He was quick to serve our drinks and take our order. I could see him entering the order into the POS as we spoke to him. After 40 minutes, and people standing behind us waiting for a bar seat, I started to try and waive down the manager/supervisor. He walked around (with purpose) and had many discussions with servers, but never saw me. After 45 minutes of our order being entered (not arrival, but order into the kitchen) I felt like something wasn't right. Sometimes the ticket that gets printed out on the kitchen side gets lost (I used to manage a restaurant and hotel room service for over 200) I understand. It is open concept dining and an open kitchen. I could see the manager near the entrance of the open kitchen. I would and have NEVER done this, but I went to the entrance and waved for his attention to speak to me. I was very polite and explained I think our order got lost. He asked what it was. I told him (it was a rather simple order). He said OK, and went into the kitchen. Our food came about 8-10 minutes later. I apologized to the bartender, I didn't want to look like a Karen.... But I'm not going to ask the man making drinks for the whole, now at capacity, place what the status of my order is. He would've had to leave all his tasks and do the same thing I did. Anyways, I felt bad going up to the kitchen. I don't think a 50 -55 minute wait is normal. Luckily I got to watch a Marvel movie and part of a Phillies game since I was at the bar. I didn't have a bad experience socially at all with any staff, but perhaps the kitchen was understaffed. SO, 1 star for atmosphere, since it is all open and loud (which ai knows MGMT can't do anything about, bless y'all ). 3 for service, because the bartender was a 5 but the kitchen was a 1. 3 for food because it was decent for the price, but again, the slow kitchen. I got there before dinner rush. P.S. NEVER reduce your tip due to long wait times. It is not the server or bartender's fault. You are tipping on their attentiveness to you and friendliness... Not the speed or quality...
Read moreMy son and I dined here on New Year's Day. It was our first time there. If you've never been here before, the schtick is that everything is sustainably sourced and made from scratch. The restaurant was approximately three quarters full when we arrived. I requested a booth, and despite a nice booth in the front window being available, we were led to the back of the restaurant and smushed into a very small booth with a wall on one side and the service bar on the other. Our booth was built for one person on each side. It was ok for me size wise, but my son is 6'5" and a big guy, so he was definitely cramped. During our meal, there was a lot of staff traffic back and forth, so it was pretty much like being in a fast food place as far as the ambiance. We started with two appetizers, the crab dumplings and the spare ribs. The dumplings contained real crab meat instead of sirimi which was nice and they were tasty. You also had the option of 4 or 6, which I also appreciated. The spare ribs were not very good at all. They looked nice and were hot, but when you cut into what looked like meat and put it in your mouth you got a mouth full of crumbled bone mixed with meat. This happened with every single spare rib. It was just gross. Never again. Do not get the spare ribs here. We had to keep spitting bone and meat into napkins. Our server kindly brought us extra napkins, but apparently didn't think it was odd that we were spitting our food into napkins. For entrees, I got chicken with broccoli and my son ordered beef lo mein. You have your choice of brown or white rice. My entree was very good. My son enjoyed his beef as well. Service was mediocre. Both the entrees and appetizers were brought by a food runner in a timely manner. Our server, who kept calling us " you guys" never asked how the food was but did ask if we wanted more napkins ( lol) and did refill our water. We would have possibly split a dessert, but we were done eating and sitting there a bit and she was nowhere to be found. A manager noticed, and came up and asked how everything was. By this time, we just wanted to leave, so we said ok and he boxed our food and she magically appeared...
