Very disappointing experience. My daughter’s slider had next to no meat on the bun, as you can see in the pic. My son’s carrot sticks and celery side was not anywhere near what should be thought of as “acceptable to be served” by a dining establishment (again, see pic). Celery was beginning to brown. Carrots excessively dried out. My wife had boneless wings and they were no better than what you can buy at Walmart in the frozen food section. I had a spicy southwest panini, which was marked as “seasonal”, though I believe that’s only the case due to it being the time of year that they clean out the freezer, and this, undoubtedly, was one such item. It was terribly dry, and the flavor was virtually nonexistent for unknown reasons. On the flip side, I believe they may actually cook the fries on the day of, as they were pretty good. We all enjoyed them. The service was par for the course, though the argument could be made that the waitress should have provided some quality control and caught all these things before they came out. However if this is the standard of the food they serve, it’s understandable why she didn’t. I would also exercise caution in bringing your younger children there, as the music played could be described as bordering on explicit. Needless to say, we will not be back. Not worth the $60 for a family of four.

I have been to a few other PJ's locations and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This new PJ's is no different. The food here tastes fresh and comes out at the right temp. The staff was very friendly and made sure to make my PJs experience a great one. My server was Kendra. She introduced herself within the first 2 minutes of being seated and had my drink out promptly. My order was placed and food was on the table in about 10 minutes (some of the fastest service i've ever received). Within 2 minutes of diving into my meal, Kendra was back at the table asking if i wanted another beer and making sure my meal came out to my liking. Management must being doing something right with training staff at this PJs location. Overall my visit to the new PJs Lancaster was a great one! I will definitely be back! Especially during football season!

So glad we chose P.J. Whelihan's! Audrey, who is returning to Virginia Tech soon, (in pictures) was our waitress. We are sure she will be missed! She took excellent care of us, even though we were the only patrons sitting on the patio on an 80 degree afternoon, but we're from Florida. 🤣 "We" includes our dog, Bernie. "We" choose dog friendly businesses to patronize when "we" travel, and P.J's looked like a good deal, especially since they welcome Bernie. It helped that they had half priced wings and cheese steak egg rolls. Bernie couldn't finish all of his sweet potato fries as he filled up on the burger. We were glad to help him as they were amazing with the horseradish sauce! Blessings for the new school year, and all that lies ahead for Audrey and P.J's Thanks for a nice evening!🌅

Hi, I usually don’t write reviews because I don’t want to be extra and write about negative feedback but however this experience stood out to me last night. My boyfriend and I thought we would go to PJ Whelihans for dinner to celebrate an early V Day since we won’t be able to celebrate it on Friday. We decided to sit at the bar instead of sitting at a table and as we sat down and had to wait to get service, when we did she was very nice (so I thought) but when we ordered our appetizer I caught an off guard attitude from the bartender. When we received the appetizer my boyfriend had the mistake of drinking his drink to fast and his drink went down the wrong pipe and couldn’t help but cough I was looking ahead at the tv and caught her staring at him and rolling her eyes while giving a stank face, instantly did not like her attitude. When we got our food she was very sarcastic into asking if we enjoyed it. While I was done with my food, she asked if she could take my plate I said “of course, thank you” and while my boyfriend was still eating, she had the audacity to take his food from him as well and throw his food away. I had enough at this point and wanted to leave.. as soon as that happened she came back and instantly asked if we’re ready for the check.. not asking if we were interested in dessert or if we wanted more drinks…. Basically kicking us out “politely” & then when she knew we were gonna tip her she instantly turned into a sweetheart. We will not be returning back, I am very disappointed that one person could ruin a special night for people. Hopefully Milli will learn from her bad attitude and make nicer choices to make PJ Whelihans an overall...

Took my parents, bother and his wife and two nephews today 7/26/21. Our waitress was Anna Marie. We chose our drinks first a coffee, two lemonades and 2 cokes and a kids coke. Three lemonades were brought and we decided to keep the extra thinking like most other restaurants that any extra drinks beyond the first are complementary. Nope this place charges for every individual drink you get, if I had know that I would have sent the 3rd unordered lemonade back. My nephew ordered chicken strips and his mother asked if applesauce could be substituted for the fries that come with them and Anna Marie said that they could. She then came back and said that they only have apple slices which we were fine with. Then she came back and said that she is new and they don't have either so we went with the fries. Three people in the party got fries and they were very dry and crunchy, there is no information on the menu as to what type of fries you get, they are the real fried steak like fries. My fathers chicken was chewy for his grilled chicken meal and the barbecue/ketchup sauce on my burger was not a good flavor at all. Finished up with two cookie crunch brownie bombs for 5.99 a piece with consisted of a little bowl" almost a cup" with a scoop of ice-cream some brownie pieces and a lot of whip cream. Very dissatisfied, wanted to go to Texas Road House which is awesome and so much bang for the buck but went here on family recommendation and wont be back. Environment and...

I was so excited to introduce my niece to P.J. Whelihans. I am currently a high risk pregnancy at 20 weeks and I have a prescription for my water due to medical conditions. We were enjoying our evening and Bill (the manager) came out of no where after finishing our meal and literally yelled at us. I brought my own water cup in because of my medication that’s in it. When we were seated NO ONE said anything. It was only after we were almost finished eating that he targeted me. I literally looked across the table and there was a guy with his OWN water bottle and Bill NEVER went to him. I look over 21 and I am pregnant. He could have asked me to smell it or look at it but instead he came at me as if it was alcohol. My whole mood was ruined and I was just trying to sit there and not cry because I had my niece with me. I didn’t want to ruin her night either. For some reason BILL chose to target me and I feel violated because he disrespected me without even considering a medical condition. I bring my cup everywhere with me even to high end restaurants and they are very understanding if they just ask. Definitely not an atmosphere that’s welcoming to pregnant woman. The best thing that cheered me up was the amazing waitress that we had (Samantha). She has served me and others before and she’s the best. She definitely gets 5 stars. Super respectful and...
