The video shows the obnoxious noise in room 402. Something is wrong between the walls of room 400 and 402. This is not the quietest hotel, but it is certainly clean.  I called ahead requesting a room further from the elevator and they were able to accommodate.  I appreciated this!  The noise issues came on all 3 mornings (Tues – Thurs.) Tuesday morning just after 5 am I was awakened by beeping noise and loud banging from the trash dumpster being emptied. This happened again on Thursday morning closer to 6am or just after. I never figured out what caused the other loud bangs between 4-5:30am on Wed and Thursday mornings, but am venturing a guess it may be related to the construction going on next door. The other noise issues I encountered were “pops” and “creaks” coming from the bathroom. Perhaps this was from the plumbing in the walls making noises when various other rooms were using water?  It was a loud enough pop to prevent me from falling asleep most nights without blasting the A/C unit. The AC works great – cooled the room right down.  However, you cannot run the fan constantly and also make use of the true “conditioning” aspect of the heat/air functionality.  It’s either all fan only, or AC or heat that will cycle off the fan completely when the temperature is reached. The rooms are fairly comfortable, if a little dark in areas.  Bedside lighting was good.  Water pressure at sink was laughable, very similar to Hampton Inn properties that also use the lowest flow faucets available.  Thankfully the shower was a bit better, although it too was not the strongest.  The soap and amenities were fine.  As others have mentioned, the lighting near the sink is not very bright for applying makeup. One disappointing aspect was missing machine/equipment wipes in the gym.  I reported it the first day but the entire 3 night stay they went unfilled.  One day later in the week when I checked with the front desk clerk, they still didn’t have any but the clerk was helpful in offering to come with a towel and spray cleaner to wipe things down.  I declined as I just lined the entire treadmill area with hand towels. Breakfast was fine – pretty standard for this range/category of hotel.  The oatmeal with 9 topping options was really great.  Didn’t try anything else.  The coffee wasn’t that great – decaf was not even hot.  There were tea options, but no hot chocolate packets. Overall I’d likely pick this hotel if in the area again because it’s so new and clean.  But I might ask for a room that doesn’t have loud popping noises coming from the walls or plumbing and hope they pay better attention to stocking the gym.

I only stayed 1 night but will be using this hotel more often since it’s close to my work location. Why 4 star? Well everyone there was pretty much in “training.” I called late in the evening to book a room and told the receptionist my company has a contract with them. She told me go ahead and book in the app or come in the next day. Really? I had to drive there and book before going to work that day, a little annoying. Location is great but getting to the hotel is not. They’re literally building another hotel next to hit and the road is blocked, you have to go through the fast food restaurants. Walking in to check-in was quick and easy. Notice the lobby didn’t smell so great, a little scent would help. I went into my room and it’s great shape, clean and tidy. I absolutely love the layout, great for office work. I have to note room is a little cramp with this layout. Pillows sucks, pretty flattens out right way. Water pressure was low when I was and hopefully this isn’t the norm. Room lighting is a little dim also. I was in and out, came in 9pm and left at 7am. I will revise my review at my next stay. P.S. Watch the bottom of the iron, literally messed my shirt up.

Friendly staff. Response to a question we had about our mini fridge was quick. Maintenance and guest services staff were ready to replace it if needed. Hotel is fairly new, with a nice modern touch. Located in a newly-developed area, restaurants and groceries are within walking distance. Breakfast was very good, with many options; many more options than I would have expected from a SpringHill Suites or similar type of business hotel. Mansfield FD Station 3 is next door, so emergency services response would be swift (if needed). We greatly enjoyed our Thanksgiving week stay; it made our trip to see kin very enjoyable. Appreciate the hospitality to my family of eight.

I’ve got to say, I’d never choose to stay here again. Nothing huge but the little things. The welcome package for members is wanting! Also, unlike other Marriotts I’ve been to, this doesn’t provide water daily even though they do provide stuff to make tea and coffee. Tap water isn’t what I’d use for that, so that was disappointing.

Water pressure in the tap was SOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOO SLLLOOOOOOOWWWW! At first, I thought they were running out of water. It was definitely alarming. Same as the flush. Lack of confidence in an effective flush. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about but if you GO every day and your GO is typically a challenge to flush, you may run into some embarrassment here so prepare yourself mentally for that possibility.

If you want to sleep in, FORGET IT! The cleaning service crew are LOUD in the hallways and there is absolutely zero sound proofing. Everything from vacuuming to moving a chair while they’re cleaning, you will hear as if you are right there in the room with them doing the cleaning!

The AC / Heating unit takes forever to effective change! It does eventually but you’ll have to be a very patient soul. Very patient!

The room was a really good size. I felt very comfortable in the space. It has a well concealed microwave and fridge. I liked how the setting of the room was oriented. It had a great flow. Bed was comfortable.

Some wear and tear. I saw dents in the wall paper, some stains in the shower base tray. Nothing that made me feel disgusted but if you pay attention to details like I do, you will notice small things like this!

The breakfast is basic! They didn’t have normal bread slices for toast. I found that odd. They did have bagels and English muffins. But no bread! The breakfast wasn’t worth me leaving my room. Great opportunity to get in a morning of intermittent fasting.

For what I paid it doesn’t tick any boxes for me. It is NOT a hotel that is luxurious, romantic, quiet or high tech in any way that sets it apart. Sure it does have the mobile key entry, but that’s a take it or leave it feature for me. It doesn’t offer any view worth looking at either, and I do not consider it great value. When I went, I paid $159 a night. No noteworthy details what so ever to consider $159 of great value. Sorry! If this was priced at $105-$120, I might have considered it good/great value.

It’s located near some fast food spots that I drove by, so that’s a good option if you’re seeking a quick bite near by.

I felt safe, but I think that’s more about me generally always feeling protected than it is about the hotel putting anything in place to establish that sensation of safety. I never saw a security car driving in the area and I don’t know if their front door has the functionality that locked after a certain time (unlockable only by key holders). 🤷🏾‍♀️

Hope this...
