I am well enough to function to the point where I can write my concerns with a certain tone and in a better mood. I frequented this location and picked up my weekly items (some of those items consisted of red apples). I thoroughly washed and then sliced an apple Tuesday morning and was deeply disturbed and grossed out by one of the apples because of the color of the inside. That was my first (and hopefully last time) seeing an apple look like that internally. I grabbed another apple, thoroughly washed it (and the knife), and cut that apple. It looked normal, so I sliced it in half but decided that I didn't even want it because of looking at the other apple. However, I did not want to waste it. Long story short, I ended up with food poisoning afterward, which has disrupted my existence (and week), and I am not pleased. Most of that produce did not look all that great, but I picked through it and continued with my shopping, and I paid for it dearly. I ended up throwing away everything that I purchased (fruit and vegetables) because I was (and still am) traumatized. I never would have imagined a small piece of a red apple could do so much harm. I like this store. However, I am going to take a break from shopping there. I decided to share this experience because it was a serious issue to me, not just a minor inconvenience. I do not anticipate receiving a response as I've noticed responses tend to go mostly to positive feedback.

Here we goooooooo!!!!!! So I went to this Market Street in search of a small gesture for my wife and saw the most amazing roses when I entered the store. I took some time glancing over their plentiful options before making my selection. Several team members that passed by told me good morning which was very welcoming. After I made my selection of roses I needed to have them arranged so that when I present them to my wife it would magnify the look of the roses. I walked to the attendant counter and was met by Caroline who was also very warm and friendly. She definitely gives "mother hen" vibes and I just wanted to give her a hug. Anywho, she said that I made a great selection and proceeded to inform me on what it takes to get roses to consumers while she arranged them. I HAD NO IDEA of the extent it takes to have these in our homes. I expected to pick roses, buy them, and return home. As a man that appreciates education, I'm thankful and grateful of my experience at this Market Street as well as my time with Caroline. If you are in need of a great place to shop with amazing people, you gotta come here. If go for flowers, make sure you ask for Caroline :-)

I want to give major props to the bakery cake decorators at Market Street! They blew it out of the water with my granddaughter birthday cake. I searched for and talked with a few bakeries to create the perfect cake for her 1st birthday. The theme was Oneder (Under) the Water. A little more than a week before the party I happened upon Market Street's website and a wonderful teview and picture by a mom for a cake they created for her son's birthday. I went to the store that same day and spoke with the head of that department (so sorry I don't remember her name), but I showed her a picture of the cake I want. Well, long story short...the cake came out perfect, exactly what I wanted! Plus, the cake was deliciously moist and bonus less expensive than any bakery I called. I will never go anywhere else for desserts and especially birthday cakes. Only thing is they do not work with fondant and the cake decorations they would use are plastic generic pieces. I provided the fondant cake decorations and name on the cake. All in all it turned out perfect! We received many compliments on how beautiful the cake was. They also made her little "smash cake" as well.

Subject: Unfortunate Experience at Market Street - Unappreciated and Racially Profiled

Dear Customer Service,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the treatment I received at your Market Street location recently. My encounter with an employee named Julie was nothing short of unpleasant and left me feeling racially profiled and unappreciated as a loyal Market Street consumer.

During my visit, I approached the checkout counter to make a purchase. However, Julie displayed an aggressive attitude, refusing to check me out and rudely putting her hands in my face when I attempted to inquire about the situation. I was taken aback by her behavior and calmly mentioned that I would speak with her manager to resolve the issue.

To my dismay, instead of addressing my concerns professionally, Julie proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers, making me feel humiliated and embarrassed. This experience was not only disrespectful but also completely unacceptable in any customer service setting.

As a longtime Market Street customer, I have always appreciated the quality of your products and services. However, this incident has left me questioning whether my patronage is truly valued. No customer should be subjected to such treatment, especially one who has supported your business over the years.

I sincerely hope that you will take this matter seriously and address the behavior of your employee, Julie, to ensure that no other customer faces a similar experience in the future. Additionally, I urge you to reinforce the importance of respectful and inclusive customer service among all your staff members.

I believe that by acknowledging and rectifying this issue, Market Street can continue to be a welcoming and inclusive place for all customers, regardless of their background.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and...

Market Street Grocery is located on E Broad, serving the lovely people in Mansfield, TX, fresh produce, meats, dairy, and a bakery with many more other goodies such as a bar inside named Taphouse!

The grocery store is your typical community market with locations all throughout TX, providing second to none customer service. I usually come here for my daily needs for everyday essentials and find myself at taphouse at the end. They have an excellent selection of produce and organic fresh fruit and vegetables while the bakery and pre-made foods have and will always have a place in my heart. They got deals throughout the week, such as Monday drumstick night, where they provide already fried drumsticks to take home. They also have a great selection of sushi, fried chicken wings, and soups. They also have a pharmacy on-site providing pharmaceutical needs and over the counter medicine. While in the store, you might enjoy grabbing a fresh brewed cup of Starbucks coffee or heading over to Tap House 16, where they have local drafts and wine for purchase. You can easily sip at the bar and enjoy the vibe or walk around the store and drink as well. The happy hour is amazing, and the staff and workers fulfill their service to the community with a smile.

Overall Market Street is a great and lovely store to get your daily needs of groceries while experiencing exceptional customer service. The prices are a hit or miss while comparing to your other typical grocery stores, but I do believe they are all eventually the same besides the customer factor you won't get from the local...

This review is not for the overall store, I find it to be easily 4 stars. This is because I have become increasingly frustrated with the sushi area. The service and quality has not been an issue until this past month. I am a regular custom, I typically purchase their takeout sushi twice a week (sometimes more). My absolute favorite are the baby lobster rolls. About a month or so ago I stopped in to find that they were out of the prepared rolls, but that’s happen before and I just had them made fresh. This time I was told that they were out of the lobster, but they were expecting an order tomorrow. I came in the next day...no rolls and an excuse. I tried again and the young guy who was working said, “They didn’t have them because they are too expensive, I mean we should have them later in the week.” This pattern of random excuses has continued for an entire month! Today, over a month since my first attempt to make a purchase I was once again told a barrage of lies, “the person who makes them is out”, “I think we had them this morning” also untrue because I did my weekly shopping THIS MORNING! My frustration at the time of this review is no longer about the sushi, it is about the blatant LIES! Just tell me you won’t be carry that particular roll any longer, simple. Who knows, I might have found another option that I equally enjoyed, but now I’ll go elsewhere. I would like to believe that the sushi section is an exception and not the future of the Market Street I’ve experienced since it opened...
