Flynn's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Mansfield

I have previously worked in the service industry for 8 years. I respect good service and I am aware that people make mistakes. However, yesterday was another level of rude and careless service. My friends and I sat at the bar. When ordering our meals, I politely asked for my Ruben sandwich to have cole slaw instead of Sauerkraut, with a side of cajun fries. I also asked if that was ok, and this person replied with saying "I'm sure it is" while also paying attention to other people at the door ignoring what I was saying. Once we got our food, my Ruben had Sauerkraut and I did not get any fries. I then politely asked to get a new order because while I am paying $17 for a meal, I would like what I asked for. The bartender apologized and gave me a new order. I was happy and even apologized because I felt I was bothering him.

When I got my second order, the Ruben was perfect but I still did not get cajun fries. I got a side of frozen looking plain fries. At this point my friends and I just laughed it off and didn't even want to bother. When it came time for the bill, the bartender approached asking us to cash out early so he could get to the xfinity center for the concert. Totally fine. He hands us just the one bill. I then , again, politely asked for it to be separate checks. He replies with "can't you just split between the 3 of you, because it would be a lot easier"? . . . When I said no, he rolled his eyes and snatched the receipt replying "fine".

The last time I was here, the service was great, the food was great, the staff was friendly. This one bartender just ruined it for me and my friends. We felt incredibly disrespected and like we were a nuisance for being...

We visited Flynn’s today for the first time in Mansfield. The place was empty when we got there. It was 5 o’clock on a Saturday, there were 3 patrons at the bar, and 2 at a high top behind us. Nice dark bar loved the ambiance. Quick service. We ordered a Tito’s and tonic and a manhattan. Eventually ordered chicken quesadillas but held back the bacon and ranch (next time we will leave it as the cooks suggested). We ordered the chips and dip which were amazing (home made potato chips and French onion dip YUM). A few families came in for dinner and a few more patrons at the bar. The people behind us started to become loud and started to swear, a few patrons complained because of the small children around. They were asked to leave and then got louder and decided they would not tip … and they were adamant about that! I asked the server how much their bill was and he told me. We took care of the tip that was disregarded and in return they took 15% off of our bill, when I asked then why, they stated because we were good people and didn’t have to do that. They got a good tip from us and I am hopeful those other 2 patrons never return. We will be back! We go their backs and they showed us they have...

Having just finished a 3 month fitness challenge at Gold's Gym, I knew exactly where I wanted to go for my first real meal, Flynn's Irish Pub in Mansfield, I had heard great things from friends and the Phantom Gourmet. I knew my choice had to be The Mighty Flynn burger, a cheeseburger grilled to perfection with two jack and blue cheese sticks and onion rings, lettuce, pickle, and tomato, all on a pretzel bun, oh and did I mention they fried the burger as well since I asked for it, literally the best burger I've ever had! Thanks @Flynn's Mansfield. Great staff who are not only friendly and attentive but who also know their food and beer options and make recommendations when asked, they also put the Bruins on for us and also put a twist on their Mighty Flynn for me, going above and beyond in my eyes, on a very busy Sunday. I couldn't ask for a better experience, and we will definitely be back and have already let others know about this...
