Okay, you asked & I'll tell you. Hopefully corporate reads these. This order was a drive thru order - if my food isn't right inside I can have it corrected. So -- it takes about 7 minutes to drive to & from McDonald's to have my food arrive home very warm I order it fresh or cooked to order so I can get home with food that's more than slightly warm or cold. They said it was cooked to order/fresh, but it wasn't - just warm & half the cheese was hanging over the bun. I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion & mayo only. I give them credit for getting that part right, but sandwiches and 🍟 fries definitely were not fresh. I order that way all the time and sometimes get it and sometimes NOT. Yep, I know the difference. So I guess not all people are taught to take Pride in their work or maybe they laughingly think 🤔 well!!! it was fresh when we cooked it, it's just not fresh off the grill or from the frier right now. I've worked in food service the better part of my life & I know the trick's of the trade. Like, leaving food under heat lamps and thinking the quality is fine or fish asked to be cooked to order is redropped in the frier for a quick refresh -- not good, dries out fish and the breading is hard on the edges. So yes, I was disappointed, but hungry so I ate it, but I've had better and I know they can do better because sometimes they do. Not sure how employees are trained 🤷 maybe it's a manager thing?? I don't usually get Quarter Pounders, but I had a manager once tell me that their Quarter Pounders are always cooked when ordered, not ahead of time. Maybe that's how that manager did things, but obviously not company standard or somebody didn't get the memo. I realize it's fast food & considered junk food, but that doesn't mean it should come out looking, feeling or tasting like junk!!! Hopefully they'll do some more training and take pride in their job. I was always taught -- a job worth doing is doing it right. If you do it Right the 1st time, then you don't have to do it over. P.S. I have called and gave my compliments when thing's have been done really well & right. So, here's my review on this visit. Hoping next time...
Read moreNo star review..... 12pm I come inside and order 2 breakfast burritos, and one bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich with a cafe mocha coffee My friend ordered 3 burritos and a hash brown with a cafe mocha coffee as well. We were given a number to go sit down and wait for our food . Keep in mind there was one other couple in the entire restaurant. We received 5 burritos and two coffees and that's it after waiting 6-8 min for the burritos to be warmed up in the microwave or which ever they do because they were hard at the ends and all dried up. We finally got the rest of our food ( sandwich and hash browns) once we were half finished with our burritos . While sitting and eating we noticed our side of the dining room was dirty ( fries on the floor tables dirty with syrup cups on them) while staff didn't have shirts tucked in hats on and were standing around talking about who got there first and who can go on break first. We then later while leaving ordered two MEDIUM cafe mocha coffees to go and waited atleast 8 minutes for them after watching 4 other people be served full meals (2 burgers fries and fraps) that walked in after us and ordered.. once we got the coffees they were smalls . We just ended up walking out paying 5.60 for two small mocha coffees ... Come on McDonald's we can hire better staff and or have staff with...
Read moreStopped here while traveling through the area, ordered on the app, and pulled up to a line 3 deep on both sides. Can't fault them for that.
Where I find fault is neither line moving for more than 10 minutes.
When I finally got to the first window after the 20 minute wait, the girl told us our order didn't appear to exist (we always stop at the first window just to confirm, and they always know about it) and the girl didn't know what to do and didn't go to ask someone else. She told us she just have given our order to someone else and cleared it, then stopped talking and stood there staring at us. After a minute, she shrugged and said she could take the order again, to which I replied that we already paid for the order and she said "I don't know what to tell you."
We pulled to the second window and they had our order sitting there ready to go except an m&m mcflurry. They brought over an oreo, we corrected them, and they made a new one without a problem and offered the oreo to us as well.
The food was decent enough. My daughter said her fries didn't seem to have been salted and didn't eat them, but the nuggets were good and my McDouble was cooked but had less of the condiments...
