Very poor service. After waiting in line for about 15minutes, I followed the car in front of me into the 2nd lane to place my order. A young lady came over the intercom and told me the lane was closed and to go to the first line (which had now grown even longer). I explained that there was no indication that the lane was closed and that I had already waited quite some time. She said “But, you have to go to the first line”. I asked if she could take my order since she was already on the intercom or if I could order at the window to avoid a second wait. She never came back to the intercom. When I came around to the window, Crystal was very rude and refused to take my order, insisting that I had to wait again. After going back and forth for a while she closed the window and stood there for some time so I PARKED to wait!
She finally came back and just gestured her hands at me. I asked what does that mean. She replied “So are you going to order!” After another frustrating exchange I ordered. I asked her store number she said “I don’t know” I asked the other young lady who said “it’s 37something”. Finally I spoke with a man in a red shirt who I assume was the manager. He was kind and respectful and was really trying to meet the customers needs in a timely manner while putting out all the little fires his subpar crew where starting. I failed to get his name. I believe it was Abdul. He was awesome!
To add to the negative experience there were a few things that were out of the staffs hands. I was given MILK (not yet frozen frostys) since Abdul was not able to provide suitable Frostys he offered me drinks but the machines were out of Sprite and many other drink options. Totally out of his hand for sure but maybe local owners or corporate will take note.
Long story short. I won’t visit this location again. I’ll drive over to Grand Prairie or choose a different fast food option. The burger is not with the poor attitude and service of...
Read moreWendy's is located off Broad and N Holland Rd home of the never frozen burger and founder Dave Thomas serving the community with affordable and quality food.
We came through to dine in and were blown away with the interior design. This locations dining area was presented nicely and was clean and modern. There were multiple tables and chairs to sit at along with an electric fireplace built into the wall. They have a fountain drink machine, but unfortunately, a small amount off the drinks were available along with an empty bin of ice. They had plentiful napkins as well as straws and also had a ketchup dispenser.
We went ahead and ordered the Texas biggie meal that came with a cheese burger, nuggets, and fries. We also had to try the spicy nuggets and the bacon cheese fries. The burger was beautifully presented and wrapped, and the quality was good, along with the crisp lettuce, tart pickles, and melted cheese. The nuggets were deep fried to perfection, and the sweet and sour sauce and ranch complimented the dish very well. The cheese bacon fries were ooey gooey with layers of melted cheese and crispy bacon pieces. The fries were perfectly salted and seasoned well, and the texture had a nice snap back. We went ahead and ended our meal with an orange dreamsicle Frosty and a Cinnabon pull apart with frosting that tasted great and cleaned our palate.
Overall, this location was good, and the customer service was great. The food was affordable, and It didn't leave a hole in my wallet. I just wish the fountain drink machine worked, and there was...
Read moreNegative star review. Worst wendys ever. The young men who run the wendys after 730pm need to be fired. I went last night 10/21/2021 around 8:00pm. Waited in line for almost 20 minutes with 4 cars in front of us. Once it only got to one car the vehicle was waiting what seemed a very long time to order. I rolled down my window to see if I could hear him talking to anyone, and did not. Then after a few minutes he just pulled off and left. (That is possibly what happened with the other vehicles ahead of him, but I did not notice). Then when I pulled forward to attempt to try to order, no answer and no one o. The intercom. I decided to pull all the way up to the 2nd window where you would recieve food and saw no one inside for a good minute. Then finally when a young man, probably late teens appeared he came right next to the window to what appeared to be the drink fountain. Looked straight at me in my vehicle and did not acknowledge at all and just walked off again. Waited another minute but nothing so ended up leaving. Now from reading other comments it appears these children run this wendys in the evening and like to shut it down way befor the 10pm close time. An adult needs to step in here, fire the current staff and get it back to running as usual. I would love to be able to go to this wendys as it is close to home, but I will need to be made aware changes have been made before we...
