Teedeez Gourmet Kitchen and Delectable Dishes — Restaurant in Maple Heights

Ok so, I have mixed reviews good and bad. Last Friday ordered the perch with an add on of fried shrimp. Everything was wonderful, fish was seasoned and fried exceptionally well, u know, like with love! Fries were nice, hot n tasty and even the hush puppies n slaw were pretty decent. The only takeaway was the shrimp was just a tad too salty…had to balance it out with a little lemon, overall the food was great! Fast forward to today (Good Friday), placed the same order with the excitement and expectation of how good it was the first time, only to b entirely disappointed! The shrimp tasted like it had been previously cooked but put back n the oil to reheat it, the texture and taste was awful! The fish was no better, wet n mushy on the inside with the breading falling off everywhere. Fries were cold and the white wine sauce that I paid extra for was bland and almost like a coagulated consistency. Nothing at all like the first time I had it! I start off by saying I went to this place based off comments before me. The area is decent My first stop here I ordered the steak bowl It was decent I liked the cut of steak that was used but the rice was hard uncooked and I didn’t like the sauce that came on it that’s just my personal opinion wasn’t nasty I just wasn’t a fan of it.

Went a second time 3 days later ordered the steak Philly the sandwich was ok but I had cash and they only take card which obviously is an issue.

Third time was lastnight Got soul rolls and wings Hot bbq wings (10) The soul rolls gave soft and lazy I live 5 mins away I expected I guess a bit more crunch considering it is a soul roll. The wings had sauce but they were dry very very dry It had like I dry layer of sauce on it I know I never heard of that either but that indeed was the situation

The food was hot, fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious! I had to double back just to be sure—and it did not disappoint! I ordered based on previous reviews and started with the rice bowl with perch. The fish was seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. The flavors in the bowl were spot on!

The next day was Thursday, so I tried the ‘Thursday Sampler’—delicious again! I was skeptical about the soul rolls at first because I co-own a restaurant (Plannerz Place Eatery in downtown Akron) where we also serve soul rolls, so I’m definitely a foodie critic. But I was very satisfied!
