Raising Cane's is a chain and this particular location consistently serves hot and fresh chicken strips and krinkle fries. The sauce is a differentiator - a creamy black pepper dipping sauce that is really good. Each location decorates in a way that is complementary to the local schools and attractions. Pros: hot fresh food that is consistently tasty, unique and delicious sauce, friendly service, (that pellet-style ice in drinks!), Fast drive-thru service. Drawbacks for non-specific location : only chicken strips (though really good, if you don't want chicken strips then move on), skimpy servings of coleslaw; if you choose sandwich, the bread is kind of thick and dense and no lettuce or tomato, so you end up questioning if you should have just gotten the strips as you work through the mouthful of dense bun. Drawback for specific location: music is a bit loud all the time; at no fault of RC's, the parking logistics are a bit crazy - due to the busy intersection, I believe they did the best they could, but unless you are travelling east on Manchester, then there is the chance for some confusion. Brothers hyped this up. Cane sauce this and that. Sauce was hot garbage. Glad I had an extra pack Chick-fil-A sauce in the car. Chicken tasted like fried tires. If I rung the fries out I’d have enough grease to fry them again. Coleslaw? What coleslaw? I had a cup of grass and vinegar on the side if that’s what you’re talking about. The most disrespectful thing is this whole cup of ice that touches the top that they advertised as a cup of lemonade. I could go to Walmart and buy some great value chicken tenders and seasoned fries for half the price and actually taste something

What a time!!! The cashier was so respectful and nice. And the environment there around us was very put together and cleaned neatly :) Me and my boyfriend was the last people there to eat. The food still came out out hot and fresh !! Nothing was cook too fast to the point it was cold when it came out ! It was made with love literally lol🫶🏼, we will be back again thank guys for your service and all you do!!!

Update 5/0/25: I literally haven't been back since my last review until today and I see prices have gone up 15% since my last visit and I ONLY get ONE LOUSY SAUCE for FOR FOUR PIECES of chicken? Who was the brainchild behind that decision? They should be fired.

Arguably the best thing about the chicken is the sauce and now you ration it out like it's the great depression again? How cheap can you get? Very short sighted. Asked for "light ice" - got at least 3/4 of a cup of ice (AGAIN! - see review below)

Prices are up, the deal is down and they keep packing ice in my drinks no matter what I ask for. Ask me to never come back without asking me never to come back. End of updated review and visits to Canes.

I got in line at 10:45 last night (9-13-23) knowing that they closed at 11pm, I figured the line cant be THAT slow, there weren't that many cars ahead of me. Unfortunately after waiting 15 mins the Parking lot lights went off and the drive thru shut down (at 11 sharp), leaving maybe 5-6 cars, including myself to drive away empty handed. Ive worked in fast food management at a couple of Major Chicken restaurant chains ( decades ago) and we would NEVER turn away customers that had been waiting in line like that, even after close.

So the next day (today) around 6pm, i go back and I bought the $9.99 4 piece with fries instead of slaw ( so a double order of fries) and I asked for LIGHT ice. Once I picked up my order and tried the fries - they were BARELY warm, some felt almost room temperature. I take a couple of sips of my soda and i quickly realize that the ice is packed most of the way to the lid!!! That means before it was poured the ice had to be very close to the top of the lid. Besides the fact that my light ice request was ignored, who sells sodas filled almost to the brim with ice??? Its bad enough that its that teeny tiny ice that really fills a cup to the point where there's not much room for anything else! Fill that ice to near the lid and there is very little actual soda...

This was my first time eating at Canes. I've heard a lot of good things, but my wife had had them in the past and she did not like them the first time she had them many years ago. I found the menu to be surprisingly small or simple which could be considered good. I had their sandwich, and to best of my knowledge they only have one, and a 4 piece tender meal. The sandwich was the best part of the meal and it paired well with their sauce. The tender meal was fine. Fries were great. Always get the fries! The tenders were well mad and had a good amount of crust, but unfortunately did not hit like i thought they would. Everyone's tastes are different, but the chicken could use more flavor. It does have flavor, but I would say some seasoning like salt is needed. I'm an anti salter on my food so it feels weird using salt as something missing but the flavor was off. One could say restaurant food shoot be a little bland to appeal to the most people, but that leads to another issue. They only had their signature sauce, which is fine, but with tenders and a middle of the road flavor profile why don't they have multiple dipping sauces? Bbq, Buffalo, Blue cheese, or Ranch.... They have the opportunity to shine and I feel like they missed it. Luckily I have Chick-fil-A sauce and Buffalo sauce at home . My wife has said her experience was better this time and I'd go back but I would only get the chicken sandwich if I didn't have extra sauce at home. Buffalo sauce on the sandwich made it a must have. Last thing is that I did have the coleslaw and it was dry or too fresh. There are multiple types of slaw, but all are predicated on the juice mayo/vinegar or whatever soaking in. There was none. I think i just got the top of a new container that was not stirred, but be warned it can tastes like tiny lettuce squares. I had to power through ti because I was determined to eat something that was relatively healthy...

Food is gross n super oily here I felt disgusting eating just one piece so I didn’t eat it & lost my appetite tried to explain that to the manager Ken & he just kept making excuses as to why the food was like that as if I’ve never ate at a canes before & know it’s not supposed to be like that. Employees literally are just standing in the back playing around & gossiping in front of you while ppl are in the front ready to order but they don’t care like it’s recess or something. I was literally standing there in front for 15 mins while the guy that was supposed to be taking my order was just watching me & messing around with the drive thru girl I told the manager Ken about it and he literally disregarded what I told him didn’t apologize just pushed it under the carpet and asked me “what I wanted” & to top it all off while all the employees were there listening, laughing & mocking what I was saying right in front of him bt he still did not tell them nothing bt told me to be quiet bc I told him what they were doing ok? super unprofessional place & I felt super unwelcomed here not only by the employees but management as well smh. I will not be returning or referring anyone here. Needs new management & employees ASAP bc that’s sad this is the type of stuff that run you out of business!!! I even had another man customer push me for being simply impatient & racist towards me no lie right in front of him & I was told to stop by the manager???! STOP WHAT? me telling him not to push me bt ask me kindly to move since I didn’t know he was there? a human thing to do? (I’m a girl & this was a old man btw) he pushed me first I didn’t even say a word to the old man for starters.. the most horrible unsafe unprofessional canes I’ve ever been to swear they really do need better...
