I came in and ordered a sandwich chips and drink I did not want the bacon on it but wanted to go ahead and have ham put on it along with cream cheese. It came to almost $28 dollars. I said wow 28.00 he said to me well welcome to 2024. Instead of explaining to me how they charge for Stuff. After ringing it and charging my charge card. After which I asked him how much it was to add ham to a sandwich he said $5. I asked him how much it was to add bacon to a sandwich he said $3.50. So I said no credit for removing bacon. Now I understand when you add things to sandwiches you're going to get charged more. But no credit for removing bacon. Now here's the real point this was the manager at the store he was a tall male probably around 35 years old. As I sat there and ate my sandwich I thought to myself hard to imagine that he was the manager. I've seen him there before and I thought he might be the manager. And I thought to myself boy sure seem to be bothered by me questioning the price then he came out to ask me how everything was. I asked if he was the manager. I said I wasn't happy but I said I would take it up with my review. He said what were you happy about. I told him I wasn't happy with him. But I would handle it in a different way instead of talking to him about since it was him that I was unhappy with. He said to me well if you're unhappy there's the door. I told him please leave me alone I'm going to eat the sandwich and I'll be out of here. He told me that I was rude instead of just respecting the fact that I did not want to talk to him about what he did. I did not want to escalate the situation. I've seen this manager talking to the employees in the back before I kind of noticed that his management skills what's up standard with some of the employees there. I used to eat at this baggins in 2 to 3 times a week I will not be back to a Baggins again unless someone from management contacts me in the...
Read moreWe love Baggin's and their food. As such, I really wished I could have given them 5 stars. However, the last two times we have ordered, we have been shorted a sandwich and our order was made incorrectly.
Tonight, we called in an order to pick up. My wife checked the bag and saw 3 sandwiches and sides, so assumed it was correct. When she got home with our order, we were missing a pastrami turkey sandwich. Her sandwich which was supposed to be dry other than peppers, had creamy Italian dressing on it (lots of it), so she threw it away.
They also put someone else's order for tomato soup and a half a sandwich into our bag, which is why my wife thought our order was correct... So somebody else besides us, didn't get their sandwich or soup tonight either!
My wife called to inform them that we were missing a sandwich and that we got someone else's sandwich and soup. We live 25-30 minutes away (one-way) depending on traffic, so we can't make two round trips when they mess up the order.
The manager John, said he was sorry and would credit us a free sandwich in the future. I had my wife tell him that we don't need a free sandwich in the future, we need our card credited for the food we DIDN'T RECEIVE and paid for. When she called, we weren't aware they had also made her sandwich incorrectly. So we still paid for a sandwich we didn't eat. Making 3 sandwiches shouldn't be that difficult, especially when one is dry with only peppers on it. I have no idea how they could possibly handle a large order!
We will never order from this Baggins again. If we return, we would ONLY dine in, to insure that our order is correct. It surprises me this happens, because they do not rush to make orders. Someone working there needs to check that orders are made correctly and that the correct order is put in the bag.
So much for not cooking on a...
Read moreI have gone about 4 times to order a salad at this site and every time they are âout of saladâ?? It doesnât make sense because they are making sandwiches with lettuce. I have gone generally after work so about an hour until they close, and theyâre already putting away the food and I feel like theyâre just too lazy to pull it back out to make a salad. They always seem like theyâre trying to close down everything before the store is even closed. They make you feel like you are an inconvenience for ordering food.
When I walked in 2 workers noticed I was there but did not acknowledge it. I sat waiting for a few minutes in line as workers pretended to wipe things down and bang around items. Finally someone greeted me, but wouldnât say it is friendly.
Also the employee was complaining about having to clean and rolling their eyesâŠ.so you know they arenât cleaning on their own initiative. Also the same person sweeping the floor then handle the register and moves right on to making sandwiches with the same gloves. Yuck!
Really poor customer service and really poor hygiene
I love Baggins, but this store has always been a nightmare. It is the closest to my house but if ever I crave a sandwich and actually can get a salad Iâm willing to drive somewhere else. Thereâs so many restaurants all around So will be going elsewhere because Iâm always disappointed every time I go here. Actually Iâve never really gotten anything from here because they never have food...
