Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Marana

So frustrating to have to give this Starbucks location a bad review, but after getting multiple orders that are messed up I have no choice. There is a major lack of consistency at this location, I get my regular drink and I swear it is different every time. Sometimes it tastes like they added extra syrup, other times it tastes like they didn't add enough, other times it feels like they used regular espresso roast instead of blonde without disclosing, or they didn't use enough milk / foam it properly... It's a myriad of issues honestly. On top of this my husband likes to get a strawberry acai refresher with a splash of sweet cream and vanilla sweet cream foam, and at least 50% of the time they totally forget the splash of sweet cream. Final nail in the coffin is how slow they are, you can order on their app 15 minutes before you get to the store and still end up waiting 10 minutes for them to prepare two drinks and a sandwich. Some of the baristas seem to operate at a glacial pace. This is the only Starbucks in this part of Marana, the next closest one is twice the distance away at the outlets so we are sort of stuck having to deal with them if I want my Starbucks fix. Unfortunately I think I will be switching to dunkin' once they finish building it, because taking a 50-50 chance that my go-to coffee will be undrinkable every time we go is not a risk I want to take anymore

EDIT: It gets worse, today my husband picked up our drinks and thank God he didn't take a sip of his yet because there was a giant dead fly in it. Unexcusable. I really wish we could get a change in management here or a new Starbucks...

At 1850 on 3Dec23 I was trying to surprise and cheer up my daughter with a hot chocolate. Plugged in the location it says open until 2000 but website says 1900 which both are ok I’m next and it’s 10 till. The lady in the van with tags that expired Nov 22 decided 5 minutes later she is ready to order. After a few items being denied and all her orders it’s finally my daughter’s turn. Phone say 1858 then 1859. A lady’s voice overtakes the speaker saying that they are closed. Shocked I said you can’t be nor can you penalize me on this horrible lady in front of me and her lack of custody. Before I could finish my talk the clock turns to 1900 and a young man state “Hey we are closed to much to do!” Idk how worthless and lazy people are these days but wow the ability to hide cowardly behind a speaker is beside me. Someone needs to teach employees that if there’s a line before close you serve all in the line the was there before close that’s just common sense. Normally this is always a 5 outa 5 but tonight being for my daughter they lost a customer and I wish I could do more because wow. Besides that van needs 5 min to start an order ask her to drive around to be prepared like come on....

I have nothing negative to say just a recommendation! My last few drinks should have came with cold foam but it was so runny each time and just melted right into my drink. For context, I got the drinks right away and they did not sit there. I like a thick cold foam that sits on top of the drink and I know we all love when there’s some left after the drink is gone😂 Just a slight disappointment! Otherwise, the staff is always so friendly and drinks are ALMOST always on point as long as they pay attention the the order. I’ve had a few occasions where they didn’t make it sugar free, didn’t add the cold foam or the yummy cookie crumbles were missing. No big deal as I keep going back anyway lol mostly because its conveniently located on my way to work and really one of the only...
