Pierre's Pizza — Restaurant in Margate City

I used to be a regular to this place until the other day. I ordered two lg.Gourmet pizzas and a 2 liter soda using a coupon they have on their menu for two pizzas and a two liter for $20. I called I called them and asked how much would it be to upgraded to a gourmet pizza instead of playing they told me $5 each Pizza. When I got there this wasn't the case they told me that the lady that took the order on the phone is totally wrong basically blaming her for being a dumb woman she didn't know what she was talking about and shouldn't said it although I heard the man's voice telling her to say this. So when I went in there my total was $53 .94 a half a Cheesesteak and two pizzas and a 2 2 liters. When I question the price the manager said that I was unable to use the coupon that this quote dumb girls shouldn't have told me this she didn't know what she was doing and that it's going to be this price. When we argued that the whole reason I ordered this is because I was told the price on the phone. He proceeded to say that $54 would be the same amount is if we had use the coupon was contradicting himself and not making any sense. I told him that you guys know me I come in here every other day and the lack of respect right now because they are giving me such an incredible attitude that I don't even want to go into on here. I will no longer bring me into your location. I really love the pizza there too it's just they have a cook manager that takes Margate people as being rich and expect that he can get over on them.. he tries to push Pizza like if you only want one slice is I auto get to size to get two slices or he'll slip in and exercise and pretend that he thought you said that which leaves you in an awkward situation where you just buy it. And then he looks at the tip box like he's a lost puppy dog which is kind of awkward to. But other than that the counter help is wonderful the management needs an attitude adjustment and major changes. I live in Margate all year long right up the street my wife and i would go there almost every other day so now because of this incident I have to choose one of the other pizzerias in my location. So I hope I find pizzeria as good as Piers nearby like a new regular place to go or Pierre's gets there stuff together. It sucks that I had to give up one of my favorite please to place is just over a couple of bucks that could have been easily resolved. And specially since I wasn't at fault at all. But as a good Margate citizen I paid for it and told him I'll never be back and the kitchen manager the younger one in his 40s needs an attitude adjustment maybe anger management. We have lived in Margate for the last 16 years. I noticed over the last couple years it has changed. The owner use to be there hollering and getting crap done , food was good. We started getting bad service last year and said enough, with other options now we don’t have to spend the thousands a year we do.

I went there with my wife on Saturday 8/31/24 because we were on Ventnor and Jaces was so busy they had a 45 minute wait, I wanted pizza and said let’s try Pierre’s again.

That lasted a whole 30 seconds. As I walked in and went to the counter we were looking at the different pizzas and the lady with black hair asked loudly can I help you, I said we are looking, I grabbed two sodas and turned around again she now screamed can I help you, I didn’t respond just put the sodas back and left. I absolutely refuse to give Pierre’s any business ever. People of Margate it’s time to teach businesses that we control how successful they will be or won’t be. Stop going...

First off let me say that I order from this place weekly and am pretty happy with the food. I call tonight and order a #12 pan cheese pizza ( tomato sauce, cheese, fresh Italian sausage, green peppers and onions @19.95) Ok, my food comes , I open the pizza and it's just a plain large that they still charged me 19.95 for. No big deal mistakes happen , I call back the girl takes down the correct pizza order all good. The same delivery guy, who might I add was very nice and young handed me the new pizza and proceeded to tell me that his boss wanted the old pizza back and that his boss was pissed that other orders were messed up. I felt really bad for the delivery guy it wasn't his fault and he couldn't have been nicer about it. But here is your pizza back that you messed up , that my 5 year old son ate 2 slices of.
