Shucker's Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Margate City

Me and my family went there last night 8/6. It was busy and there was an hour wait for my party of 12. The team at the front door did an excellent job communicating the wait and keeping us in the loop. One of the lead employees at the front ( I forget his name but could have been Mike) was beyond hospitable. He went above and beyond to get us tables from Johnnies to accommodate my party of 12. We had 3 kids with us and sometimes restaurants aren’t so accommodating when they see children. Our servers, (there were two of them) Stephanie and the other lead server were fantastic. Got our drinks and food in everything came out so quickly. I must say we were all so impressed with how your whole team accommodated our large group during these crazy times. We will certainly be back and refer friends and family your way. A must visit spot...

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. For a party of 6 we waited over an hour, which we understand that it is Memorial Day, but multiple parties were sat in front of us and when we asked how much longer the wait would be, we were completely ignored. None of our food came out at the same time, one of our appetizers didn’t even come until after our meals. We got two orders of lemon shrimp, and one didn’t come with bread and one did?? One of our meals came out way after everyone else’s, and it was wrong. Two people in our party ordered crab legs with old bay, but they were plain when they got to the table. Fish tacos were completely flavorless. Our table was very obviously not a priority to the staff, the food is subpar, and extremely overpriced. Would not recommend if it was the last place open...

Had a great experience on a very odd memorial day weekend. It certainly did not feel like memorial day weekend in Margate this year. It is amazing to see how our local restaurants have adapted to continue service is these crazy times. We called in our take out order on the phone. The employee who took the order was very polite and informative. We arrived to pick up our order and take out was a breeze with great social distancing measures in place. Food was hot, well packed, and tasted great. Again the staff was very friendly and polite despite the fact that you could tell they were very busy.
